Largest Game Collection on Ebay Sold.

You thought you had a big game collection? Well, one Ebay seller may have a bone to pick with you. He recently sold his video game collection for a whopping €1 million, or roughly $1.32 million.

The collection included complete sets of every game for every Sega platform as well as every game for every Nintendo platform up to, and including, the Gamecube. This means even rarities, contest exclusives, and games for smaller, lesser known platforms. The consoles also came with it, along with many more items.

Many games were also factory sealed and mint condition. A full selection of pictures can be seen on the Ebay listing.

Can't say the dude didn't earn it. A collection of that caliber would be preeetty damn difficult to build. Especially with obscure titles included in it.
Definitely worth it though, that's a hell of a profit he made. He's gonna have fun shipping it.

Owning the set would be pretty damn sweet. Though...goddamn huge, you'd need quuuuite the shelf space for it. Granted if you can afford a $1.3mill videogame set, you've got plenty of shelf space to fill.

That's utterly insane. I wonder if the guy who sold it broke even on his collection... building one like that can't have been cheap.
The buyer could make his money back if he sells everything individually, especially if some of those games are worth upwards of $1000.
A lot of the stuff there has probably never been dumped, and sadly it probably won't now.

I highly doubt he bought the collection recently. He probably collected all of it during their era, so things would have been way, way cheaper. Not to mention easier to get a hold of in general.

that virtual boy "full set" wasn't actually a full set. a full set would have been 22 games, not 19. 19 games were released in japan but to have a full set you would have their n. american equivalents. also virtual bowling for 2 grand? not sure what this guy was on when he wrote the description. =P
