A couple little enhancements I could suggest :

1. I noticed in my GameCube games (Where I don't have custom banners installed) I can still click in the upper right corner and it will switch the button positions as if it were really opening a banner except I have no banner to open. I think for those games that there is no full screen banner to show, this should be disabled.

2. One thing that could be placed up in the top right corner for GameCube games is the small internal game logo that each disk has. There would still be nothing to zoom in on unless you overrode that with a customer banner but it would still be cool.

Thats more a bug, you can do the same in plugin coverflow :P

I tried it yesterday and failed miserably, so it can take a bit longer, well I'm sure I get it to work for sunday release ;)

Just saw the comment in r542 about the security missing in cached banners. Should I delete the banners/ cache files and recreate them?

Yep, sorry about that, I havent seen that before it checks the md5 it deletes the md5 out of the banner and it was not readding it after the check, now it does and the banners are valid, but the old cached ones arent.

Hi comunnity of Gbatemp, sorry for my english, i speak spanish but i follow you project, the famous WIiflow mod, you guys have a wonderfull work!! in speciallity thank a Fix94 and you excellents contributions, in special the Emuflow and you last r535 is the best there in the forwarer, but i have a question, in the Emulation of Wiiflow (snes, nes, n64) i could not put the covers, I do not know the covers measures, which is the size?? thanks you so much all over, i register just to thanks... wait for the response...

No problem - with the speed at which you add things I can see how a bug or two can creep in :)

Do the banners auto-recreate in the background or do I need to cycle through all my games once?

Size doesn't matter too much. it will stretch any image to fit the right size. SNES and N64 need to be rotated on their side. You can download covers and see examples in this other thread http://gbatemp.net/topic/324714-cover-collections-for-emulators-with-cover-support/

Hello all, I have been having some issues with nand emulation and wiiflow. I have not seen it mentioned on this thread for a bit, so I assume it is working and I have done something incorrect. I extracted my wii's nand and put into the folder named nand on the root of my sd card (I also tried puting it in the nand folder under wiiflow). It works perfect in USB loader GX, but nothing shows up in wiiflow. I thought maybe it was becuase I need to use wii flow to extract my nand, so I tried that. It tells me I have extracted 0 of ... files. Do I need to change something in the wiiflow ini? Any help would be great!

Hello

What I would advise you try if possible... move the Nand from sd to usb drive, change emunand partition setting to 1 and let me know if it works...
(I think its a bug, it should work if nand on usb but doesn't if nand on sd).

Please could you let me know how you get on?
Its just I have tested this as much as I can myself but I still need confirmation and if you could provide it, I'd appreciate it.

The issue info http://code.google.c...es/detail?id=95
(Feel free to add your findings/comment/info, it may help the developers :) )

As far as the other issue you mentioned, extracting nand from wii using wiiflow... it should work but first load wiiflow and select "games [usb]" coverflow, then from the settings choose extract nand.
(If I try to extract it from any coverflow other than "games [usb]" it fails exactly like it did when you tried. I have not reported this yet as I don't have much more info. I need to test/mess about more so I know exactly where this fails or succeeds etc).

Cheers.

Thank you for your feedback. I will report back once I try your suggestions.

Ok, I first saw the probem with r541 but cleared things and have been using r543 and stepping through each game to create the banner cache (I couldn't bribe my son to go past the first hundred or so games).

Things were going well until I get to game 866 (going alphabetically). It is Sega Bass Fishing (RBTE8P). The banner looks a little odd, kind of washed out - like it lost some color info.

Then when you go back out...the graphics are mirrored up and left a little...

Then going into the individual cover it is also mirrored like on the main screen.

If you go to another game the mirroring/doubling of the image goes away.

It seems to be localized to this one game. Is there anything I can do to help debug the problem? Just let me know. Thanks!

@[member='massiverican'] can the fanart be converted to custom banners?
@[member='abdallahterro'] is this a possibility? Your the custom banner expert around here :D Sounds like a great idea and it would definitely keep things flexible with no loss of previous features.
