I think the original post is probably misworded, but taken literally, you could get 4 black & white gameboys for around $25 each on ebay

Dunno the price, but during finals week in highschool my friend would bring in his Gamecube, some controllers, the AC adapter, and a portable LCD screen designed specifically to fit on top of the Gamecube, and we'd play Smash Bros and Bomberman. It required a wall outlet, sure, but it worked.
