Some people have the game running flawlessly, others (including me) have the game stop at a black screen during the start menu.
Patch mode works and gains EXP, but freezes in random places.

The exp patch works on r4 wood just beat the rival no freezes so far. I'm loving the music!

but when you try to check your pokemon's stats it freezes

I can Confirm the game works on my R4SDHC revolution for DS xD now i just need the patch for exp and im good

What did you download? I use the last firmware but i get errcode=-5

Use Waio to make the game work for R4SDHC revolution

Step 1: Download Waoi here http://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/flashcart-files/start-waio-116-repacked-v30-f24711.html
Step 2: decompress it and copy all of it contents to the sd
Step 3: make sure to start the rom on your computer and copy the .sav and rom to the sd
Step 4: Load woodr4dldi.nds
Step 5: go to the rom press (y) two times and make sure the .save type is unknown/auto and press (A) to save
Step 6: load rom enjoy

Clean mode Pocket Monsters White 2 is gaining exp.

If you get clean mode to actually run, then it should gain EXP.
