I took the IPS patch by 2CH and made it practically n00b-proof.

Can anyone try this IPS patcher (.exe file) and verify that it works on the AK2i?

I've been patching roms since the 90s. Something else is up here. AKAIO is up to date. Could formatting the SD card really solve this?

Formatting the MicroSD will get you nowhere!
You can try downloading again, from another source!
Then patch this new Rom, and see if it works!
If not, just wait untill the new Akaio 1.9.0 is out!

afraid we all might have to just do this sincd ive got the same problem as the other acekard members

Well, updating the DSTwo firmware did nothing for me, and neither did redownloading the ROM. I'm going to try using the Acekard patch and see if that works. If not, well, I'll be pretty damn close to giving up. Still getting a white screen as of now.

confirmed working on r41 3ds gold with wood 1.48

Using that patch on my acekard2i just made it worse - it no longer even gets to the white screen, just gets stuck on the yellow LOADING text. It once gave me a red FAT Error too. Other games are working on it though, which is what I don't understand

Worked for me. Using Akaio 1.8.9. Thanks man!

If not, it would never work!

Well. I'm going to guess that Black and White 2 will be out by Friday at the very least since Japan is a day ahead hence Friday here in the States would be the 23rd in Japan. Hopefully there will be a dedicated team working on the AP. Til then, League of Legends and Pokemon Conquest

Actually, I was in the same situation as you and then I used the AK Patch. Everything works flawlessly now.

Just aplied the patch. The game no longer white-screens but says "data cannot be read, turn off and try again"

Well with the Pokemon conquest patch I got this on Acekard ' the data cannot be read. Turn off the power, remove and reinsert the game card, and then try again.'
