I don't think I changed it. I can't find anywhere where it says what it is except in ShowMiiWads it says version 512. File name is simply "neek2o_NK2O_1.wad" I swear I just got it from ModMii... Downloaded rev80 and going to see how it works. Thanks (again)!

neek2o_NK20_1.wad is just the wad for the channel to launch neek2o. neek2o itself is the kernel.bin copied to sneek.bin folder.
If you activate the neek2o overlay menu, that it should show the revision in the top line.
rev. 72 was long time marked as the featured version.
rev. 74 and 75 show up as 72 as well, so it's difficult to find out what you are having.

Ok Well I've read through the readmii and now I have a question about getting my neek2o setup to play with PL. I currently (using priibootergui) autoboot to PL and then if I don't enter interactive mode PL will autoboot to CFG. Now I know that using the neek2o channel or loading bootmii through HBC or renaming a folder on my SD card I can access my neek2o setup. Is there some way to view/use my neek2o setup from with PL? I have PL installed on my emunand and when I boot into my neek2o setup I can load the PL channel but then PL tells me it needs somewhere to save the cfg files and I don't want to let it do so without knowing what will happen because I don't want these new files for the emunand to interfer with the files PL uses when loaded from my real nand.

I basically want to mantain the autoboot settings I have now but also be able to access and use my neek2o setup while in PL. Oh and yes my emunand is in a folder called pl_us which is in a folder called nands which is on the root of my drive.

Also, how do you change themes in PL? I gave each theme its own folder with in the main theme folder but when I try to change to them in PL, it tells me it can't find them. Do I just pick which theme I want and copy that theme's files over top the default theme found on the root of the theme folder?

I use the one NAND dump (USB:/nands/pl-eu/) in both 'normal' postloader (running under IOS58/cIOS loading) and under NEEK2O. The config for both is saved to SD but doesn't clash in any way whatsoever - i.e. I can be in different views in real NAND and emu NAND etc.

As for themes, I *think* that the themes need to be stored as zips under ploader/themes and then on choosing one in postloader it unzips it to the ploader/theme (no 's' at the end of this folder name). Just download the themes pack from postloader's Google code page and you'll see what I mean when you change the theme in postloader. The themes actually are constant across real NAND / emu NAND unlike most other settings/config (as pl always just reads from the theme folder when it does it's skinning).

I'm hoping (once again) that I'm in the right forum.
I have a 4.3U softmodded Wii. I'm using neek2o to launch my emulated nand (uneek+di), and am trying to load all my games through Joyflow.

My question is this: I swear I was able to do all of this before without having to use an SD (besides the initial set up). Currently I'm unable to play any games through Joyflow without the SD, and I can't launch Postloader either, (neekbooter: postloader not found).

Do I have to make a second partition on my USB and use it somewhat as an emulated SD? or is it just a matter of copying some files over or injecting some wads?

A SD-free solution would be most appreciated. Anyone know how?

obcd is probably going to fix this for you what with his involvement with neek2o but one thing that has occured to me is that you might not have the ISFS-enabled neekbooter.dol installed in your NEEK2O NAND's priiloader. This could explain why it's not finding postloader on USB. Probably not the case seeing as joyflow also isn't working but it's worth checking you're uptodate on neekbooter just in case.

postLoader keep 2 different configuration for realnand and neek.

Download the theme package and unpack it to /ploader/themes. Do not unpack the zips inside the package...

First post on gbatemp. just for help with this app!
homebrew, emulated nand, and real nand work great autobooting! Yay!
wbfs games all show up when i rescan for the cache.
but, when i autoload them through configurable USB loader v 70r27, it tells me that the games are not found. I believe it is something with the labeling? as in postloader is sending the wrong name. i.e. Mario Kart Wii is sending MARIO instead of RMCE01?
any ideas what i can do?
I have the forwarder channel v4 and am using cios 249

Speaking of themes, I've created a rather simple Earthbound-based theme called Snowbound, with replacement splash screens. One thing I've noticed is, for some reason the Booting/Executing screen seems to always use White which is rather unreadable. I'm not sure why this is because from a cursory glance it appears the fontBMF_reverse setting is loaded early enough and I don't readily see where it might be being cleared. :/

On a mostly unrelated thread, for some reason startup time of neek2o for a game is rather slow. Specifically, I have all my wiiware/vc setup in usb:/nands/pl2no/. Startup through normal boot is rather quick, but it takes something like 40+ seconds to get past the "Executing" screen for a game setup as neek2o. I presume it has something to do with uid.sys, since renaming uid.sys solves the wait issue. However, most wiiware through normal boot doesn't want to work then. :) So, am I doing something wrong, or is this just inevitable from having a lot of wiiware/vc/channels in pln2o?

@[member='masterjakeway']: AFAIK, you have to include the RMCE01 in the filename in some fashion (say "Mario Kart Wii (U) [RMCE01].wbfs") and it should work. I know from experience that O and 0 can look a lot alike and cause problems. That's the only guess I can really make on why you're having issues. :/

Edit: Okay, since there's no way to use fontBMF_reverse with the ploader.png splash, I darkened it a bit so the white is clearer. So, those who downloaded Snowbound from the above link should probably do so again. Oh, a small suggestion, but for background music, I'd suggest using Earthbound music like Winter's White or Snowman..or there's always OCRemix. :)

my wbfs is set in folders with the wbfs files inside of them.
ex...
>WBFS
--------->RMCE01_Mario Kart WII
--------------->RMCE01.wbfs
--------------->RMCE01_Mario_Kart_Wii.txt
--------->R22E01_FlingSmash
--------------->R22E01.wbfs
--------------->R22E01_FlingSmash.txt

I have a ton of games so I hope it's not an issue of changing that format...
works fine in all the loaders...
maybe it's how postloader writes the title cache?

Thanks for making a new theme, it's always welcome cuz I love to customize, plus I love earthbound :D hope to see more.

Does it have Wii Motion Plus support yet? I got a new remote today and the archaic version I am using doesn't read it, perhaps updating it may do some good.

Yes, latest releases should support any motion plus controller version.

@masterjakeway: your folder structure is ok. Postloader always pass game-id and partition number to cfg. What postloader revision are you using ? Can you try gx ?

Actually it is inevitabile... automatic uid.sys managment is something that obcd has requested from long time and will be available soon in postloader.

Thank you for the theme. Yes when the splash screen is loaded, fontBMF_reverse is not yet parsed. The splash screen should be darker. Actually there is nothing I can do for this.

As a temporary solution, you can have one nand with all vc/wiiware, and a nand without those for the purpose of running games.

I also wonder if the option to use a bigger cluster size would improve loading speeds, like it used to improve them when loading gc games from an sd card. it might decrease the file system overhead a little. But this is just loud thinking.

You can also use that uid.sys management java app to remove all the title entries from your uid.sys which is what I do. The titles seem to be added back as and when they're launched anyway. If it ever starts feeling slow I give it a little blast to tidy it up. If you don't play that many different titles you'll hardly ever need to do it except the first time when you clear all the entries out.

Games load fine
-from Channel forwarders to usb loaders
-from homebrew channel to usb loaders

starting postloader from priiloader "installed file" option:
autoboot: system menu
return to: system menu

Configurable usbloader v. 70 r 27 cios 248
--Just loads configurable usbloader as normal. although it loads with cios 249 defaulted. if i load through forwarder channel or home channel it loads 248 defaulted... idk, just thought that was strange...

Wiiflow v. 3.1 -r428 cios 249 base 38 v7
--says cannot find the game with ID: MARIO

usbloader GX v. 2.3 r1123.
--boots to system menu

Postloader v. 3.71.5 w/ postbooterGUI v. 2.4 and plforwarder.4 installed

Get the same if i load postloader from plforwarder.4 directly

if i load postloader from hbc it just loads up usbloader gx normal

if I load Priibootergui from hbc it loads up usbloader gx then goes back to system men

also noticed if I do this:

Priiloader v 0.7 r138
--autoboot: installed file
--return to: Autoboot
It won't power on my 2tb wd mybook
and the hd wont power on at all even after it goes on to the wii system menu?
But, if i start installed file (which is Postloader) from Priiloader it powers on fine...

syscheck just so you know:

Ok masterjakeway, I found the bug. A fix will be available in fiew moments.

I suggest to you to install priilbooter_gui as "installed file" in priiloader. So you will have an easily way to update postloader.

as for priibooter_gui as installed file. you mean the boot.dol that is in the priibootergui folder?
just to make sure
