Gaming DSi 1.4.4u Update Live

Hi! I have foolishly upgraded my DSi and I use R4i v1.4. I can't use my card now and I downloaded the latest April update of R4 card from their site but it didn't do any good. Is there any fix ?

use an old DS phat or DS lite, it's firmware wont block the card. You'll be able to load it and update it. Then it should work in your DSi+DSi XL/LL with firmware version 1.4.4

but you also need your card's software developers to release that update to install.

So if I put it in a DS lite or old DS and then put it in to my DSi it'll open without any problems?

What is the web address of your card?...i'll take a look to see if you are referring to a firmware update that i think you are, or if there is an update to make your card work on the DSi

In that case you cannot update your card yet to work on the DSi/3DS, they say they will be resolving that issue shortly

EDIT: yes you can, further down the page

Download the update you need then run it on a DS/Lite

You mean the v1.55b update? I downloaded it and format my R4 then use the new 1.55b files but it didn't worked.

Yes that update, put it on your R4i then run the update on a DS/Lite

EDIT: i'm downloading it now myself to see what files are in there

OK so with that update in R4, if I put it in a DS lite (one of my friend has it) and then take it out and put it in my dsi, it's gonna be ok? Do I have to do anything special when I put it in to the Lite? Or just put it and open the device?

EDIT: there is no update file in there, it is a firmware upgrade so i assume the update is contained within the firmware, so it should work on your R4i as it is

Well, thanks for your time and I just delete everything in the R4 and put that new files in it but it still gives me the same error with black screen.

r4i-sdhc.com have only released an update for the 3ds card, not for the other carts. It does say on the r4i-sdhc.com page.

Can you not read for yourself? It says on the site they will release an update shortly.

acekard are getting lazy with updates now. I don't see how anyone could recommend the card from now on.

Supercard are getting lazy too, they haven't updated the supercard dsone.

It's really ironic, I haven't played with my DSi for more than 6 months and now I can't play and I want to play like hell... I'm still waiting for R4i-sdhc update but if I buy the 3DS flashcard of these guys (which works with ndsi v1.4.4) can I put it in my dsi and play with it? Or is that card only works with 3ds?
