It's at 420 you should try that one. You'll need wiitdb.xml in settings folder for a faster startup, no libogc update yet and cache issue will be worked on.

I liked your comparison notes, you should do it again with both latest dols.

Where can I find WiiFlow R420? I looked in the obvious places but no dice. Unless I'm missing something here?
 
I now uploaded r215 to google code!
Changes to r191 are that this rev got full DML r52+ compatility, "dml_r52+" in [DML] section, you can also disable it if you want, with it enabled (enabled by default) means wiiflow dont need to write a boot.bin anymore to launch a game, you can set NMM and the new no disc patch directly in wiiflow (no disc patch is enabled by default and requires DML r55+), as well as debug feature and cheats, cheats are also supported in older DML versions, if the cheats are on usb wiiflow will automatically copy them to sd on start, on older DML it will always copy it into the "games" folder, its now also possible to have gamecube and wii games in one coverflow (if gamecube games are in the same folder than the wii games) and you can also launch them from there, fixed cheat url not displayed, fixed crash when game with a name longer than 64 chars are detected, fixed wrong game title names, dont reload to ios58 when using homebrew launcher, new homebrew view, added full d2x v9 compatility, means its possible to temp change wii region with nand emulator, increased speed of dml game launcher and last but not least the internal wiiflow update feature works again starting with this rev.
I hope thats everything what changed, but it could be I missed something :P

Is this a theme based forwarder like the ones on wiiflowiki? If yes we may should suggest to add it.

Sweet! I'm going to download it now and test it out. Just got used to d2x v8 final so I'll search around for v9 but will test against v8.
 
v9 is a private beta so you cant :P I just uploaded r217 to google code btw because it fixes gamecube disc dumper, you can update in wiiflow directly when you had r215 before ;)

Thanks. I've played with it for a bit and it looks pretty good. I am only using it for regular Wii game play but I have a lot of games (1153 on a 2TB drive). The usual 2 that didn't work in the past still don't work (Kirby's Return to Dreamland and The Smurf's Dance Party). In this rev The Adventured of Tintin black screens also. If I get some time tonight I will check which prior version it was working.

Since I know you are also on the CFG project can you look at the code that launches the games on both WiiFlow-mod and CFG? CFG plays everything I've thrown at it including the 3 problem ones above. I am wondering if there is some minor setup/config difference when CFG launches those games that allows it to run under CFG and blow up on WiiFlow.

Also I see that the +,- keys no longer page alphabetically as they did before. Was this intentional? I see you added back the B+L/R but really like the +,-.

I have seen a couple of code dumps which occured after going into a game and then pressing left/right to go to the prev/next game. It seems to occur when the intro game sound fails... this happens every once in a while and appears randomly as I can't pin a sequence down to replicate it. Ever once in a while when I go into a game the intro sound doesn't play. I can play the game w/o a problem but after that happens skipping to the prev/next game sometime causes a code dump. I've seen this in several versions but didn't report it until now. It's pretty rare but I thought you might want to know about it.

the change for next/previous page from Plus/Minus to B+L/R was my request (though next/previous letter has always been B+U/D). B+any direction being for coverflow navigation makes sense to me somehow. i requested the change because that's how it always used to be prior to Miigotu's r340....i prefer and was used to it that way back then. i also made the request back then or at least an explanation as to the reason for the change and never got either.... ...so now that -mod is here, i asked again. for what its worth, i did express concern when i made the request that others might not be in favor....

That's odd that you're continuously having problems with those games, I don't have the adventures of tintin but smurfs dance party and return to dreamland both work for me on mod and OG wiiflow revs, bad dumps maybe? But they work on CFG 4 u so it's prob not that.

U got me curious as to why they don't work for u lol
 
hey fix94 if you read this, it seems wiiflow forces no disc mode for me no matter what. i turned the option to 0 in wiiflow.ini. it loads the games but with the sound being messed up with no disc in, it defeats the purpose.

does wiiflow do a check for the no disc feature or is it simply on or off? i though wiiflow would load no disc patch if there is no disc in the drive or else it will load with standard disc in.

BTW i love the slot light flash when reading from sd card. very nice overall job on wiiflow, its so much better than it was before you started working on it.

I don't know why either :( I've pulled down versions from multiple sources but the do the same thing. The odd thing is they work with CFG no problem and also fail with USB Loader GX, that's why I thought it was some cIOS/config/setup for those games but I've made everything the same as I can between WiiFlow/CFG. i've seen this bug at least as far back as r415
I don't mind one way or another but since +,- is no longer assigned it would be nice to be able to also go alphabetically through the game list with it. One of the reasons I like WiiFlow over CFG is/was the ease of jumping alphabetically through games. I have 1153 games on a 2TB drive and I really like being able to jump alphabetically through my game set :)
