Thanks for your update :)

I'll also update the dat this weekend.I'm still on rom52, I'll have a lot of games to add.
IcySon55 provided a host for the dat and pictures, it will have auto-update starting from OfflineList 3DS v4. :)

auto-update will still require that I upload a new version to the server :ninja:
But it will be easier to check and download covers :)

I'm working on it right now.
I intend to add a developer tag too (there's publisher but not developer).
Too bad Offline List can't display a lot of tags.

I wanted to create a dat reader/writer (not a file renamer) in Xul and Gecko (to replace notepad), but it will be too long to do, I'll see if I have time.

yeah, everyone could update it. but there's no way to convert it to xml to create a dat.

I thought maybe gametdb.com could be a good choice too, to make a 3DS section with all games informations.
The structure already exists, it can display pictures and is easy to access by everyone.
It could export a dat readable with different dat readers (Offline List, Clearmame, NDScrc etc.)

Users like using a dat reader (just having an offline list of available games, mark their game with the fake-list plugin, or using it to rename their roms).

Here is the new Offline List link: Nintendo 3DS dat for Offline List 0.7.3 beta2
It's currently v5, but it has auto-update feature now, so the link will not change anymore.

There are still incomplete tags, I'll fill the missing info later.

Please read the spoiler, I need some user's help for few things.
Thanks.
Features of v5:
  • Dat updated up to dump #0090
  • Duplicates are referenced
  • All game covers
  • Some game Icons
  • Auto-update for dat and pictures (Thanks to IcySon55 for the host).

Help needed:
Some informations needs more checking:
#0064 : Serial CTR-AKKJ-JPN or CTR-P-AKKJ ?
#0065 : Serial CTR-ASSJ-JPN or CTR-P-ASSJ ?

Could someone with the roms verify with 3DSExplorer or CTR please?
Japanese release #0025 is using CTR-P-xxxx format.

#0067 : Publisher : Namco or Codemasters ?

Thanks to:
  • Pong20302000 for keeping the list up to date on GBATemp : http://gbatemp.net/topic/315455-3ds-rom-dump-info/
  • PsyKopaT for the game covers : http://scene.releases.free.fr
  • http://www.ludibria.com and http://datomatic.no-intro.org/ for the additional releases informations and the .nfo files.
  • IcySon55 for providing a web host for the dat and pictures.
  • Official Icon's pictures from http://www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/software/index.html
  • Publisher and Developer's informations from Nintendo UK : http://www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/games/nintendo_3ds_games_31010.html

For more information, a readme.txt is included in the dat.

Let me know if you find any errors, I'll update and fix them in the next versions.
A lot of informations are not displayed in Offline List (you need to open the xml in a text or xml editor to check all the included info).

>> all retail games got a game partition starting with CTR-P-(serial)
Here "P" letter is not related to a region, like the "P" we can find at the end of EUR rom serials.
Could be used for "Production" but I can't swear it. You can find the same standart on boxarts, game manuals etc.

#0067 : Publisher : Namco or Codemasters ?

>> Namco ;)

Dat-o-Matic listed CTR-AxxJ-JPN, that's why I found that strange.
I thought, maybe they had really a different serial (as max length is 16 char, it still fit).

Thanks for the publisher too.

Hey guys, just chiming in so you have some idea of who Cyan is talking about. Enjoy the DAT~
