Acekard2i: Great, low priced flashcart with good support and compatibility.

Supercard DSTWO: Awesome, high priced flashcart with good support and compatibility, and has enough power to emulate GBA and SNES.

Depends on how much money you're willing to put out, and what you're going to use it for.

I would get the Acekard2i though.

Please remember, there is no flashcart that can play 3DS games yet. It's only for DS games. If you're planning on playing GBA games as stated above, get the Supercard DSTWO.

I would recommend the r4i gold 3ds over the ak2i. There are quite a few defective ak2i's with contact issues and (recently) crappy, unwanted springs. r4i gold 3ds has official wood r4 support, which is as good as akaio is (although wood lacks AP bypass). It's not like ak2i is the only cart that suffers from contact issues, but it's certain that a great majority of ak2i's do suffer from them.

Also, snes can be emulated on any flashcart, but the DSTwo does it better (still, snes emulation on ds mode isn't really that great, though, so I don't recommend the DSTwo for emulating snes).

From what I understand, you already have a flashcart for DS games and you're not particularily interested in any SNES games, you'd much rather play GBA games instead...?

Seeing that there are no flashcarts that currently support 3DS games... get a PSP.

Perfect GBA emulation, among many other systems, on a nice, wide screen. And of course PSP games. All PSP's are moddable nowadays by the way. And you can get them relatively cheap. Great deal, to be honest. If there was a good time to buy a PSP then it's "now".

Certainly true, but the cost of getting a DSTwo + micro sd card vs. getting a psp + memory stick is quite different. If the OP is willing to pay more (especially for the psp games), I guess that'd be fine.

He can always get an SD-to-MSProDuo adapter, effectively cutting the cost. That, and used PSP's are *insanely cheap*.

No flashcarts can play 3DS games, but I'd strongly recommend the Acekard 2i which can play DS games and GBC games as well.
