So I made a thread a about a week or two ago asking what kind of 3ds bundle I should buy, now today in about 3 hours I get my salary.
I checked online at the store I was going to order my Zelda 3DS limited edition, when I Saw they had a new boundle: 3DS + Resident Evil Revelations + Circle Pad pro.

Of course this made me yet again unsure whatever to buy which bundle...

Black 3DS + Resident Evil Revelations + Circle Pad Pro bundle = 1990 SEK (282,47$)
Zelda 3DS Limited Edition = 1990 SEK (282,47$)

As you see both bundle's cost the same.... and now I have decisions anxiety

Well strictly from a physical point of view, you get more stuff for your money with the 3-in-1 deal. I say go for it and then get the Zelda game later.

I don't really care much about the zelda game since my brother already have it and I can borrow it from him If I want, The problem is when it comes to the zelda themed 3DS

Ah, well I thought the black case was cool as well. It seems kind of superficial but half the fun of a luxery item is to show it off. It's your money but personally, I'd go for black!

Edit:

Ah, I see 2 other people agree with me according to the poll. I guess they liked the black case as well. I

Meh It's still a hard decision xD
My gaming heart screams "ZELDA EDITION" while my brain rationally says "The Resident evil bundle is a better deal"..... GAh I'm going crazy xD

Zelda bundle is a cool 3DS and a good game.
Second bundle is a boring 3DS, a shit game, and a crappy-addon that, albeit, does add decent functionality.

Honestly, i'd go for the Zelda bundle. At least then you wouldn't have to buy a good game to play.

How do you know that it will be a bad game? The game is not released yet and there don't seems to be any reviews at all at the moment.
I myself tested the demo on my brothers 3DS, it was nice graphics and good controls even without the circle pad. Can't comment on story since it's a demo.
But I'm a huge fan of horror games/movie's too. I might wait until the game is out and get some reviews before I decide.

Games tend to get cheaper, but special editions tend to get more expensive, and it's harder to get one when they're out of stock.
I should buy the Zelda bundle, and later the Resident Evil + Circle Pad, maybe when you earn your salary next month ^_^

Problem is, It's a part time job :P (full time employment here for youngsters is really really rare) So there are often months were I don't get to work anything at all. (didn't have any work between oct-jan, and only 4 days now in jan)

Oh ok :)
Anyways, my answer is the same. If I were you, I would buy Zelda Bundle, but ONLY because of the special edition 3DS. But that doesn't really matter, you should choose the kind of game you like. My advice is: If you have played Zelda OOT before, you're not losing anything (In fact, I bought the Zelda bundle and I played OOT before, and I got bored soon because I remembered what to do in puzzles), buy the Resident Evil. If it's the first time you're playing Ocarina of Time, buy Zelda bundle. Both are great games, long and quality ones.

EDIT: jing90 had a great idea, the problem is you're no getting enough money for buying RE only by selling the Zelda game.

My Zelda 3DS made a few of my co-workers jelly.

I personally don't care for Resident Evil, the demo sucked, the circle pad thing is a joke and can't comfortably be taken with you.

I'm obviously biased in favor of the Black and Gold 3DS, so maybe my opinion isn't the best.

While getting a Circle pad is technically a better deal, you have to ask yourself what REAL use do you even have for it? To me it's like the "Mario Kart Wheel" for Mario Kart 6 & 7.

Also from what I hear, is that the Zelda 3DS comes with a print on the ocarina of time game that says not for resale. Though they're the same game, suposably this not for resale print on the box makes Ocarina more valuable among collectors on eBay. I refuse to confirm if it has this print on the package as my box is put up in my 3DS box which is wrapped in a gamestop bag which is in my closet. I'm not going to go through undo-ing all that and then re-doing that just to confirm it.

Well, i would think of it like this:
The Zelda 3ds can't be bought again once it's sold out, it's the one bit of the 3ds you can't change. Whereas you can always purchase the others at a later date

Well, you would get more for your money with the Resident Evil bundle. I'm sure a lot of games are going to start requiring the Circle Pad Pro (Makes for a good Katamari Damacy opportunity), so you'd save money to get it in the bundle.

Sure, a Zelda 3DS would be nice, but getting more for your money sounds even better.

They can't require it, unless Nintendo goes back on what they said. Which, hell, is possible. But not that likely.

All games have to support a control scheme without it, but of course, it would enhance some control schemes to own one.
Sort of, it's trashily integrated so "enhancing" might be a very strong word that it doesn't deserve.

LOL, remember the 1980s and baseball cards? Speculation is a sucker's game. #1 rule of collecting is never buy 'special editions' or 'collector items'. But yeah, if the OP can get some sucker to pay more than full price, I say go for it! Then they can buy the RE game and keep the nice case.

The only compelling reason I still say to get the RE bundle is that they already have OoT, and liked the RE demo. I still like the slick black case, but that's kind of a matter of personal taste. Black makes a great background for custom decals, BTW.
