Who think's we may see a revival of Paperboy on the new wii u.

After seeing the panoramic view demo at ces, it got me thinking about the possibilities of a paperboy game, where you have to deliver to the left and right of you and slide your hand across the screen to throw the newspaper.

If they haven't all ready thought of this, and happen to see this idea online, feel free to borrow my idea and send me a free copy lol!

What's everyone think....

Obviously there would be more to the game than i've described like you have different papers and magazines.... etc...

Maybe you're given a certain time limit at the start and you have to draw your route out on a map through the streets on the u pad before setting off!

Any idea can be expanded upon to make a full game! I think this has potential!

Anyone agree?

Awesome. The wii had the potential of breaking lamps (my brother managed to do that...and a friend and me almost broke our wiimotes in a mid-air collision)...and now the WiiU will have the potential to break windows by swinging your console at it. :P

On a more serious note...I'm not sure just how much you can expand it into a full game but it's certainly creative. You could use your television as the main "what's in front of your bike" window, controlled at all times by your controller (kinda like holding a bike wheel/car), and the controller screen+touchscreen for throwing papers, exactly as you described.

i say any remakes they do of old NES games need to be playable with only the classic controller. no swinging the thing around. and no swiping/tapping the touch screen. just make them where you can play with a d-pad, a, and b.

That looks awful. swiping left and right is not a game.

True. A batterypowered Wii with a small external monitor mounted alá typing of the dead and then swing the wiimote left/right would be more realistic :P

But... Going outside to pretend delivering newspapers... Eh... Id rather pick up an extra job as a real paperboy and get payed for it lol
