Hacking Hijill GUI

Hi! (jill lol)
I edited a bit giantpune's Hijill so now you select the patches you want from Wii!
It also can dump hbc.elf with the selected patches and load your custom translation from SD (sd:\hbc_changed.mo)!

Features:
-You select patches from Wii
-Loads custom translations from SD root
-Dumps 'hbc.elf' (thx person66)

Well, if it is using my code that I posted in the HiJill thread without modifications, then it will still have the same problem as the dol dumped with pune's dumper. It will have all the patches applied, but it still gives you the scam screen when you start it. I don't think anyone has found a way to get around that (at least not publicly).

Then just go and make one. I keep seeing you going into other threads and almost begging people to go to your thread to ask you to make an icon. Since you are so willing to then just go and make one and post it up and then people can choose to use it or not.

Did you notice how in the original Hijill thread that you had said it to pune like 3 different times and he never responded? It's because the way you are going about it is rather annoying. Since you are obviously reading every single thread on the boards here and you even post up in a specific thread that you are willing to make an icon, but then to make people go out of their way to ask you in your thread. Do it like this....

"Hey, would you like me to make an icon for you?"

and then the response probably will be...

"Sure, thanx man!!"

And then you can make the icon and post it in your thread and the thread that the icon is for. But just stop offering to make an icon and then telling people that they need to ask you in your thread. It just sounds like begging for attention.

...just my honest opinion.

I haven't run it, but from looking at the source code it is NOT a GUI. It is a UI. A GUI needs to graphical, and this is just text. But still, nice idea.

Sorry, I didn't realize it was annoying. The reason I ask for someone to make a request is that I will never remember to make one (or the correct thread) if it's not in my thread. I have to check my thread periodically to make sure I haven't forgotten about someone. I like making icons, but it's just going to annoy people more if I say I'll make one then never get back to them.

Then I would have to stop answering other people's threads, and I am usually in several active conversations.

IDK how long it takes for you to make one, but i assume it doesn't take you all that long.

About half an hour to make an original, then another hour to tweak it till I'm satisfied enough to show it to the user. Then I make any modifications that they want, or start over if they don't like it.

Ones for games take me longer because I try to get images from in-game to put in the icon. For example, I had to download and install software to view a 3D model of the ship when I made one for newo shooter.

Overall I usually spend a total of 2.5 hours on an icon.

But like you'd ever really forget anyways. You read every thread like 100 times, how could you possibly forget?

Lol, only if there are 100 new posts. I forgot to make one for 2 months in my own thread (this is before I started checking every couple of days).
