opencma_r2.7 has been released on the procfw google code page. The CMA (Content Manager Assistant) disallows anything (even music and pictures) to be transfered to the Vita if: (1) the Vita is not on the latest Firmware and (2) the computer isn't Online. opencma bypasses both; now, Vita owners can transfer their content, even if the Vita is outdated and the computer is Offline. [more details on CMA here]

To bypass online and the latest OFW checks in CMA.
This software is for PSVita only.

Changelog:
fixed bat on win7

版本号: r1

相信许多人都发现PSVita的CMA(Playstation内容管理助手)经常拒绝工作。

psp2-updatelist.xml是伪装的更新文件。如果以后你的确需要升级,可以在升级之前临时重命名这个文件,这样又能从互联网上更新了。或者下载最新的psp2-updatelist.xml到CMA目录:

http://fjp01.psp2.up...-updatelist.xml

重启CMA后无论是没有连网或是有强制更新了CMA都不会罢工了。

胆大的同学可以试试修改psp2-updatelist.xml的内容。如果版本号改高了重启下PSV就可以恢复。

最后祝大家2012年新年快乐。

Version: r1

I believe that many people find PSVita the CMA (Playstation content management assistant) often refuse to work. CMA often an excuse to strike the following:

Not connected to the Internet
Not updated to the latest official firmware.

Sony did so in order to prevent cracking. Think about how hackers released tomorrow for a certain version of the PSV of the crackers. Sony can make your PSV in the CMA acceptance before the update can not connect to access any content.

openCMA can help you solve the problem.

Installation method:

If the CMA is running, turn off the CMA
Extract all files to the CMA installation directory
Run run.bat, (WIN7 user may need to run as administrator)
Re-run the CMA

psp2-updatelist.xml update files in disguise. If you really need to upgrade later, you can upgrade to temporarily rename this file before, but this update from the Internet. Or download the latest psp2-updatelist.xml to the CMA directory:

http://fjp01.psp2.up...-updatelist.xml

After the restart CMA is not networked, or whether there will not force an update of the CMA strike.

Students can try to modify bold psp2-updatelist.xml content. If the version number changed to restart under high PSV can be resumed.

Finally, I wish you all a Happy New Year 2012.

I figured this would come sooner or later, but I didn't think it would be this soon. Good news for anyone with a Vita :)

But I guess Sony will add a check to the Vita side in future firmwares to make sure CMA is legit or something

Not that I would ever undermine Wololo's authority, but what about LAN connections? He's not showing those.

By the way, just a guess on my part...

Captured Sony packets + Loopback on a virtual connection? :P

They're not collecting information on what you do, they're collecting information about possible exploits you might be using, your Firmware number etc.

IT IS unnecessary, all it does is hindrance people who actually buy the games. They imagine that every "pirated" copy is a "lost sale" which is just untrue, if people wouldn't have downloaded them illegally, they wouldn't have bought anyways, cause most of people doing this live in 3rd world countries, where it would take a whole month's pay check to pay for a game.

This will just be by-passed, as i said, only causing more issues to people who actually pay for the games. I download them sometimes, but pretty much always buy them as well, cause i can. If a guy downloads it in Africa or some other forsaken place, it does not mean Sony lost 40$, the sale would never have happened either way.

@[member='s4mid4re'], It was never r2.7, what you linked to was r2 and was compressed into a .7z archive.

r3 is out now, so you should probably link to that instead.
patched CMANPlib.dll to prevent it sending POST to PSN server
prevent CMA to upgrade (with a fake CMAVersion.xpd)

Edit: Also, it's only a patch, you first need to download the CMA from Sony, then extract the archive into the CMA folder (Program Files/Sony/Content Manager Assistant/ by default).

You then have to exit the CMA, which you should see in the system tray after installing the CMA. Next, run "run.bat" as an administrator, then press any key to exit the command prompt window. You can then run "CMA.EXE" to restart the CMA, which is now patched to no longer send info to Sony or require an internet connection.

The CMA is controlled only via the Vita after you've got it set up, and the interface for doing such is quite terrible. Makes me sad after directly mounting my PSP for so long.
