Bioshock Infinite

I'm quite a fan of the Bioshock series, and thought it'd be nice to see other people's viewpoints of the new upcoming addition to the series Bioshock: Infinite. From the trailers you can find below, it's shaping up to be quite a game. I personally can't wait to get my hands on it. The main gist of Bishock: Infinite, is that you're a young man by the name of Booker DeWitt who has a massive debt to pay back. Rather than pay it back, to settle it you have to go to a city called Colombia and kidnap rescue a woman by the name of Elizabeth. However Colombia isn't a regular city. Built by the US government to symbolize the American Dream, or the prosperitiy of the American people the city was built to fly around the world. Your wits combined with Elizabeth's newly discovered power might just get you back alive.

Irrational had this planned before Bioshock 1 and 2.

I personally hope that the E3 build will be no diffirent then the final build.
I loved Bioshock 1 and 2 and if Infinite is as good as the previous ones I will definitely be playing this for days on end.

The aesthetic of Rapture was immense, Colombia will be even better.
One great thing about Colombia is that some NPC's will attack you on sight, some after a few minutes and some are just scared citizens wich makes the game even better.

I can't wait until Infinite goes for sale.
I'll definitely pick up a limited collectors edition just like I did with Bioshock 1 and 2 on launchdays.

The funniest thing is that Colombia is a real place. It's no a city though, it's a country in South America.

Looks pretty fun! I'll be definitely getting this when it comes out. I'm liking the setting so far, it looks interesting to say the least. I hope it lives up to my expectations.

Not really since it's the same general game (Bioshock) but quite a different setting from the previous titles (thus, Infinite instead of 3). If infinite gets a sequel, it'll probably be Bioshock Infinite 2.
Makes sense either way in this case. Some games, like CoD, do it rather pointlessly though and THAT is irksome.

In Call of Duty's case is kinda the same though. Modern Warfare is set in "modern" times and Black Ops is Vietnam, I think I only played it for a bit and then abandoned it because it was awful.

So I guess if they ever want to go back to Rapture then that would be Bioshock 3.

To the developers its a different game but in the same universe, they explained that they didn't label it Bioshock 3 because the story was unrelated to the previous games.

Whether it's set in the same universe or not it's still from the same Game series as BioShock 1 and 2. But then again it's still based before 1 and 2 right?

I really didn't like Bioshock honestly. It just felt so boring and samey. Still, all I here from my friends is how bad they think Infinite looks. At least they're changing setting, I got bored of water after an hour of the first game.

Colombia is set in 1912.
Rapture was set in the 60's

It's likely that the only Bioshock-ish thing remaining in the game is the main concept - this looks nothing like Rapture, it doesn't continue the story so it's either a prequel or a completely unrelated story. Giving it the number "3" implies it happens after "2". I know it's complicated, I'd rather have a number aswell, I'm just trying to find reason in this.

i'll prob play it for a week than get sick of it like all shooters. couldnt give a rats ass about MP. and as for the tits i've seen better in games some even jiggle
