Hacking HELP! Hacking PS3 4.00

I was reading the guide to install custom firmware, but it's listed as cfw-3.55. My PS3 has the 4.00 update. Will this change any thing from the guide. If so how can i fix it, or is there an updated version of cfw.
The only things needed are Netflix and my downloads to work. The only game I would need PSN for is my Festival Of Blood, but I can live without it if need be. I have two systems. I want to hack my 80GB reverse comp. Please help. Thank you.

If your PS3 is on firmware 4.00 you can currently do nothing about it. In order to install cfw you'd need to get a hardware flasher and downgrade your PS3 to 3.55 or 3.41.

it's currently not possible. u'd have to downgrade with progskeet or e3 flasher. note: this will only work if ur ps3's base firmware (what it came with) of 3.55 or below otherwise it will brick the system.

Never has any real hack been distributed like that.

for all the COD games and they work tried them myself (MW2 MW3)
but i dunno for the jailbreaks never tried them
