For a long time, I thought that if I played my DS games on a 3DS, they would either have to be large and blurry, or smaller than the DS screen. Recently, I've been thinking about it however, and realized that I might be misinformed about the resolution.

When you hold start+select to get a better resolution, is the resolution 1:1 with a DS?

i hope I'm clear about this.
Also, I don't own 3DS. This was actually something that was keeping me from getting a 3ds.

its the same. people just don't like the fact that the top screen has black bars when in the DSI. either that or people are too stupid in general to realize the 3ds has better graphics. so when you go back to an old game, it looks crapper. like its a dsi issue. lol

Yes, its 1:1 with the pixles/ Ds screen, It will have a bigger border around it to make it looks like a DS sized screen.

I think Nintendo should give us the option for playing DS games on full screen (I think it's the same as an XL)

Off-topic:
I realized when you play games on the supercard dstwo, the games get a bit brighter and they're not like their original colors, why is that?
