Gaming Nintendo eShop in maintenance

Well, i have an american 3DS and i tried to access the eShop.. But it is closed!

When i try to enter it says that the eShop is currenty in maintenance.

It's only me or it's really in maintenance?

I have a UK 3DS and I also can't access the eshop. Perhaps everyone gets the update at the same time (for once).

Ok yeah....they said the the eshop would be down before the new updates comes.

Edit: It's amazing the human mind doesn't process that the word 'the' was used twice in the sentence above.

I highly doubt that. Nintendo rarely does anything early (It's either when they say it, or later due to a delay). They're just preparing it for the update so it's not extremely overloaded when the update actually comes out.

Technically, it's still delayed since it was promised on the 4th of November.
They said it'll be out by the 8th, not on the 8th.

you my good sir have just blown my fucking mind.... ive tried reading that over and over after re reading the bottom sentence and every friggin time i cant see the two " the's" on the first pass..... grrrrrrrrr.... i will get it, even if it takes me days.... lol
