Gaming Hate linux ubuntu

is there something else like linux ubuntu without those annoying install codes etc
and with a better power saving
and FREE if possible
(when removing power cabel my laptop turns off in 1 minute -_-)

Honestly if you can't understand how to use Ubuntu you're better off on Windows.

There are many free Linux distros (almost all of them are free), but Ubuntu is generally regarded as the most "user friendly". If you don't like it, it is quite possible that Linux is not for you. However, perhaps try something like OpenSUSE or Fedora - both seem to rank highly amongst Linux distros.

As for the power thing, that's probably an issue with the battery, nothing to do with software (for example, on my old laptop after I had had it for about a year, the battery stopped working completely. If I unplugged the power, it'd turn off instantly - replaced the battery and it worked fine again). Try replacing the battery if you can, it is extremely unlikely this is caused by software. And therefore other distros won't help.

iknow but the internal hardware is only 15 GB -_-

Ubuntu sucks. You sould start using a 1337 distro like Scientific Linux.

Also, I see you're using a netbook. Don't use GNOME2, GNOME3, Unity, KDE4, or anything like it. They're too bloated to be of any use on low-specs hardware. Try a DE like Xfce or LXDE.

EDIT: also, the latest Fedora LXDE spin installs in 3 minutes and boots in less than half a minute. Now some Windows fanboys might say their computer boots in under half a minute as well, but that's most likely from an SSD, not a hard disk.

You can install anything as multiboot. Well, last time I checked this was difficult with btrfs file systems, but barely any distro uses this yet, so don't worry.

Yeah, just use any LiveUSB creator, use the ISO for the LiveCD provided here, install, etc. You'll need to install LXDE afterwards, as SL only comes with GNOME as default.

That's not true at all. I run nothing but Linux systems at home and I got hacked last year. It was, however, less because security software was outdated than because I was using rather weak settings, but it's still far from impossible for even a home Linux system to be compromised.

But seriously, unless you just don't want to pay for/pirate Windows, there's not many reasons for a normal computer user to use Linux. 4/5 people I know who use Linux don't really have a reason other than they think it makes them cool and tech savvy.

My Windows computer boots in less than half a minute and I don't have a SSD. You honestly shouldn't talk about things you don't know about, that's called being ignorant and it's generally frowned upon.

From shutdown? As in clicking the shutdown button? Pressing the power button on a computer may be set to put it into hibernation or something instead of a full shutdown. A 30-second boot time isn't undoable, but it is rare and people will often want video proof.

A point being that the default settings in most linux distros circumvent most hacking attempts. It's when people start disabling security stuff that they open themselves up.

If you had bothered to read the thread, you would see that the OP is only objecting to the Ubuntu flavor, not Linux in general.

So, you can't understand how to work Ubuntu, the most simplistic, easy to learn linux, but you think you can handle fedora? *facepalm*

Also, your 1-minute battery life has nothing to do with software, The battery is dead, get a new one. Better yet, you need a new computer.
