Hacking R4iSDHC-com-tw New Firmware?

Hey there people, Very new to this.
I have a friend that just updated he firmware to DSi to 1.4.3 and now the cart does not work.
I have tried the newest 1.47 firmware for the R4i 1.4 but when I had a real good look at the cart it say R4i v1.4 but the site says www.R4iSDHC-com-tw. I tried the newest firmware from there but it was last updated in 2010.
Is there any other firmware out there that may work?

sorry your friend can't use his flashcart anymore.
tell him to get a new preupdated flashcart or there is no hope.

thats the same company, i have cards tat ive bought freom both of those sites, the kernels should work form my site

wow, I didn't know that the firmwares from the two websites could be used interchangeably, since the kernel version was different (I thought one was a clone of the other lol) >_>

I tried and they don't work. from what I see its a clone for sure. I have been looking at other firmwares but none has worked other than the "official" firmware from the site but it will now only work on a DS not the 1.4.3 DSi.
