It doesn't even work in the DSi with 1.4.3

as previously stated in this thread, akaio is not the bootloader. akaio is the kernel or rather the operating system for the acekard.
please read the article in the above link to find out how to reflash your ak2i. the ak2i hwid 81 is 100% working on the dsi v1.4.3. the ak2i hwid 44 is not working on the dsi v1.4.3, and as acekard pretty much publicly stated, it probably never will. if you have a hwid 44 card you should consider upgrading to an 81. you can check the hwid of your acekard in the akaio help menu.

Why would it? It's not a bootstrap for the AK2i, you have to wait for the acekard team to release that...
You realise an updatable bootloader isn't even an advertised feature?I for one, am not satisfied with the aK Team's performance on this subject. This is crappy service. If they are waiting for the next Nintendo update before releasing an updated boot loader it would be appropriate to inform us, the customers.

You'll notice that nowhere does it guarantee to update the bootloader before other brands of flashcart. Or at all.
Bumping this up.Well, seeing as I don't totally care about 3DS compatability, it's all good for me. But, I have a question that may seem really stupid.
How can I disabled the Disable Anti-Piracy functions for games that have fixes issued? I'd like to re-enable it in Michael Jackson's The Experience so I can show it to someone, but the option for that in the settings menu fails to work. :/
It's actually limited? Interesting. I wonder if someday any game could be used. You realise an updatable bootloader isn't even an advertised feature?I for one, am not satisfied with the aK Team's performance on this subject. That made me lol
AK team are probably just waiting for the big update. It's only 3/4 days away. Not long to go people.
I heard that the number of games that you could use as the header are limited, so maybe they are trying to conserve the usage?

I think this post was worded perfectly. If you don't like the service, then why do you have an AceKard in the first place?I for one, am not satisfied with the aK Team's performance on this subject. This is crappy service.
You'll have to show me where they guarantee you free bootloader updates forever ... if at all.
If you're not satisfied, go pick up another flashcart. A savvy DS user intent on piracy should always have at least two carts -- their favourite, and one as a backup for when things get slow.
In my opinion, the teams working on flashcarts should have two payment tiers. Tier 1 is just buying the cart. Updates come to increase compatibility in order to continue sales of their cart, but are not guaranteed -- they come when they come. Tier 2 allows you to register your cart for more frequent updates, and download said updates that are locked to your cart. After all, why shouldn't they be paid to keep working tirelessly for you? Do you go to wherever you work and magnanimously decline your paycheque every two weeks?
Probably not.
The great thing about free enterprise and an open economy is that you get your say with your DOLLARS. If you're not happy with a service, you don't have to give them any more dollars. Yay competition.
I guess it was a good idea to get that R4. I can't wait until it arrives.A savvy DS user intent on piracy should always have at least two carts -- their favourite, and one as a backup for when things get slow.
Protip; admission of trolling isn't smart.I posted my comment about the aK team hoping to rile a few feathers
