I really want to get a new Xbox 360 cause I saw one at Fry's for $180 with kinect and the kinect adventures game and I was wondering if I bought that xbox right now, would I be able to jtag it or install the LT+ firmware or whatever you need to do to play backups. If it matters I could care less about Xbox Live unless it comes free with the Xbox.

Glitch hack is not live safe, so that's not an option if you want live. Flashing LT+ on it, depends on what's in it. Newest lite-on or hitachi drive, then no, can't be done yet. If it isn't one of them two drives, then you can flash it. You'll need to buy a few things to do it though.

Refering to the two in the slim. There's the old 0500 that's been about for a while now and you'd have to be extremely unlucky to have gotten one, and the 0502 which seems to have just appeared. Neither can be done.
