Currently, I STILL have a regular ds lite and I recently got back into GBA games. What kind of flashcart do you guys recommend I get that can play GBA roms? Be it Slot 1 or 2.

(I have a TTDS, R4, and a M3 Simply.)

The DSTwo emulates GBA games from slot-1 so it's a great choice if you have a DSi/XL. However, if you have a regular DS Lite a slot-2 card such as the EZFlash 3-in-1 would be a better choice as that enables you to run GBA games natively on the machine hardware which always gives better performance/compatibility than emulation.

Not to mention better battery life.

I also have to mention whilst the EZ Flash 3in1 works great, the internal battery dies after around twelve months or so. This means you can't save data.

Emigre couldn't you just open the 3 in 1 and change the battery yourself? I'm not being a smart-ass. I really don't know. Is it possible?

You can change the battery, actually there's guide in the GBA section on how to change it but that can be somewhat intimidating to someone who has little experience in opening electronics up. But it's important for possibly buyers to know their battery is going to eventually die. I have one myself and it worked brilliantly but when it died I lacked the motivation to actually change battery. Now I just play GBA on my PSP and to be honest I prefer playing that way, the PSP screen is just so nice.

The only other Slot 2 cart I know that's relatively easily available is the EZ Flash 4 which works pretty well.
