3DS Expected To Outperform DS' First Year

These are stupid arguments.
Key word is.."EXPECTED". that means it hasn't happen yet.

And it's pretty stupid to judge a product before you even touch it. It's like saying the Wii U sucks because the PS4 will kill it.

Expectations are based on an estimate not stupid guesses, it is very improbable that the PS Vita will outsell the 3DS. It doesn't matter if the Vita is superior in every damn way its just not going to happen because guess what the "casual" market is bigger than the "hardcore/fanboy" market. Common sense dictates that if the 3DS is the successor to the BEST SELLING video game and its backwards compatible, cheaper, and a bigger household brand than the PS Vita then it is only logical to expect the 3DS to outsell vita as simple as that. Face it, the psp sold extremely well in japan and everywhere else it was decent at best. Sony knows this why do you think they pushed for a holiday season release for japan and missed the timing for everywhere else. Even if you were to compare a years worth of sales for ps vita and a years worth of sales for 3DS the 3DS will be at an advantage because it didnt skip out on holiday sales for the rest of the world.

I hate the tag "casual" as if it that only reason that system sells outstandingly and less selling one get the tag "hardcore"
because it blind people from the good games on the system and kinda belittle gamers
on whichever system.

Only kind of system I want the 3ds to be is a gamer handheld.

Yes, we have two kindeys. That doesn't mean that provided someone sells a kidney, he or she can buy only one product. Every apple can be (theoretically, at some point you end up with a mush but bare with me for now) divided into an infinite ammount of pieces. That means that I can draw theoretical two circles over my left kidney and plan 50% of profits from sales for a Vita and 50% for a 3DS, acessories included.

That, and I'm joking, so I see no reason why anyone would go to any lenghts to prove me wrong in this situation.

As for the topic, I don't really care. I can say after a lot of DS and PSP time that the PSP was my handheld last gen. Both were great but I enjoyed the PSP a bit more once I really dug deep. And people are quick to point out that sales don't equate to a good game. If it did, Wii Play would be the best game ever.

The only reason Wii Play sold anything at all was because of the included Wii Remote. It was a shitty tech-demo.

I still think it's going to be tough competition, once the Vita is out, Playstation's new handheld looks like one awesome and powerful piece of game machinery and I wouldn't turn my nose up at..especially with so much faffing from Nintendo...but this happens everytime they release a new console, so it goes without saying.

The Vita has better launch games than the 3DS, the fact that they are remakes of a PS3 game makes no difference
