I've started the process of conversione. Is there an updated guide? Which posts i have to follow?

Extract_Singstar (now SS2USConv) ask me a password to decrypt the content of PS2 DVD. How can i find that?

Yes it is illegal to download it however it's not illegal for you to rip your very own copy, As long as you don't distribute it.

Yes it is illegal to download it however it's not illegal for you to rip your very own copy, As long as you don't distribute it.

What I'm sure is not legal is ripping/copying your own DVD, as shown in the back cover of any Singstar:
Unauthorised copying... renting... of this product are prohibited

So in any case you'll get a copy of your paid DVD, and you will not earn money for this...
I prefer the downloaded copy, less job and same sentence...

(Talking about it, due to illegal copies since the last two year in Spain we pay a specific tax (that increases the price) for any blank DVD/CD, independently of the use...)

I'm trying to make a custom sing it... but...

the "Duets" mode don't work very well...
every player sing the entire song... (like the "Versus" mode)
and not only parts of it...

Is it possible change this behaviour?
I have downloaded some custom singitstar and "Duets" mode don't work like my custom iso (but... in the original game "Sing it"... the duets mode works like Singstar)


How can I change/modify logos or intros (like customs from Projekt SingItStar)?

Pls tell me where you did find them? I have the same problem with my bought Svenska Stjärnor - I prefer using US rather than SS for convenience.

Just click ok the 4 times... worked for me with all my SingStars... no need for any passwords. I read that the password si only needed for encrypted data like the ones on the PS3 SingStar disc. But all my disc worked with clicking Ok all the times. I made 6 custom NTSC Sing It since now and I also added songs from artist like Billy Talent and Green Day with the help of the ones done for Ultra Star. It's really easy !

I gave up on this. I ended up using Lips and a JTAG'd xbox 360 for all the DLC for free. Works out better this way.

Hello,

I saw on this forum that you had tried to make a "custom" to sing it.
You had a problem with black screen when you start the game
Did you solve your problem for me that makes me the same thing ...
Was it a problem of partition size?

I've tried making a custom iso but failed miserably!! Instead I downloaded already compiled custom SingItStar!! These are great for nights in with friends drinking the good stuff!!
