Years ago, I seriously damaged the case and the L and R buttons on my 3DS. A few months ago, I decided to completely repair the 3DS, and I fixed almost everything, but unfortunately, I noticed that the touch screen wasn't working. I tried two different screens, but neither worked. I even ordered one from AliExpress and installed that, but it still doesn't work. Do you know how I can try to repair the touch screen? It is the very first 3ds model

I thought this was going to be another thread about a unit with a bit of grit caught under the bezel, which constantly registers as an input; that problem can be solved just by cleaning out the grit.

But once you start opening up the unit, any number of things can go wrong, especially if the rest of the unit was "seriously damaged". Do you know if the touch screens you tried were working in other units?

I should have another mobo maybe alive but I would have to reassemble everything, maybe I will try.
