I dont know if you guys noticed but the VR scene is getting crazy- I think you guys definetly need to listen to me on this one.
We need A VR Gaming section- Then as we enter the section, the sub Sections need to have VR Game modding, Vr Modding Support, and
the most important is VR Ports - In the VR PORT section you need to have these sub sections PCVR and standalone ports

The VR porting section will be the most popular - Trust me; do it like that and we will have millions of new subscribes by 2029-2030
Due to the new headsets coming out this year and next year + The major ports of nintendo games being made so the people gonna wanna know where to get these ports ... GBAtemp need to jump on this quick and early because there no major game forum site thats doing this rite now

Be the first to get the attraction early on from the normies

MARIO 64 VR IS GETTING CRAZY AND CRAZY-

Personally that link that Sylver posted is enough. VR isn't really big. It's a niche that never seem to grow.

Anyone even remember 3d films was gonna be the biggest thing? No one talks about it anymore.
True but did you see them ports and decomps that VR been getting? I think VR is about to blow up due to the Decomps
just about any game you can play in VR now

I say this about FPGA hardware for retro gaming, and they'd just rather lump it all with the raspberry Pi garbage.
A dedicated FPGA section would be perfect for keeping up with all the latest FPGA consoles and handhelds. Especially to track which cores have been ported to which devices.

There isn't enough demand imo, most vr's sold as well as SteamDeck did and there isn't a dedicated board for that to this day.

Meta Quest 2: Estimated near 15 million units sold.

Even ps5 sold over 95 million units.

3D films were gonna be the next big thing in 1953. Then they were revived in the early 80s with such masterpieces as Jaws 3D. 2009 was not the first time and won't be the last.

I love my Meta Quest 3. But I know enough to realize that it is very niche, is not in any way compatible with other VR headseats like the ill-fated Apple Vision Pro or the ill-fated Sony PlayStation VR2 (which hurts potential adoption by segmenting a small market). And Valve can't even get its ill-fated VR glasses out the door due to the RAMCopalypse. VR is no more likely to be the next big thing than it was when the original Occulus Rift came out in 2016 or when the ill-fated Nintendo VirtualBoy came out in 1995.

These fads come and go just like 3D movies; no need for a new section.

Not needed. VR is a novelty fad for new users then they realise the games just aren't there yet. I was one of these people!

As for the Mario 64 video posted, it's just the android port with a different viewpoint. If you are suggesting the headset is the reason then we need forums for every TV!

Same thing has been done for Mario Kart and Zelda titles on Dolphin but it's Android Dolphin.

Android has a forum, the hardware is not relevant. I say leave it for now.
