Just announced he's running for President, because the years of foreshadowing about this were just too subtle

Well, maybe "announced" is too strong. He just kept saying he's going to do it, over and over, and then put on a 2028 hat. Most places are reporting this as a "joke", which it is.
Yeesh, guess he saw how little pushback there has been for the Nicaraguan president and thought it was the right timing.

What is it with these old octogenarian fucks being the worst people in the world.

Lol Trump announcing 2028 bid.

Called it. People didn't believe me, but I have witnessed enough corruption in life to know how these people think.

Good luck guys, for another 20+ years of Trump's regime. The 2024 elections were your last ticket of freedom and choice and you all threw it away because the majority ignored the signs.

"But the consitution"

That doesn't mean shit if no one is willing to follow it.

Isn't Trump 80 years old?

A few caveats:
1) in typical trump fashion, it's all a joke until it isn't. React serious, and it's "oooh, these libs, dems, extreme left take it all serious". React as another day in the clown show, and it's 'well... There's no objection'. So by calling it serious, the right draws the 'it wasn't a serious bid' card.
2) it's midterms first. Democrats should be able to win a majority (if Republicans don't die to make up for it... Like the rumors I'm hearing on mcconnell), and then they'll finally do some pushback instead of just posting on social media. It may take civil war, but i do think that the people will eventually put a stop to the madness

It really HAS been his M.O. for the last decade.
Step 1: He wants to do something horrible.
Step 2: Normalizes the idea through joking that he'll do that horrible thing until people get tired about getting angry about the dumb joke.
Step 3: Once people have been inundated with the idea that he'll do it, he does it and people act like they expected it all along.

There are still quite a few things on his list of desires that are a still a bridge too far, but once 10% of Americans start thinking that Canada/Greenland SHOUDL be part of the US, that's when he'll do something horrible.

Anyone else got a celebration bottle chillin'? (Not my photo)
