Wait! How? What did you do? I have the same issue where I cannot overwrite my ctrnand, because "permission declined by user". So far I followed the guide by 3DS Hacks and felt pretty good, backed up my data and all. But when the time came for Section 3 CTRTransfer, I wasn't prompted to unlock sysnand, but rather got the error "Script denied permission by user." If I understand correctly (and I don't know if I do), I have to unlock something?!

If you're hoping to hear something from someone who last logged in two and a half years ago, you should probably adjust your expectations.

Are the buttons on your unit working correctly?
