Alright, thanks for clarifying. Kind of related to my previous questions but can I go around a required software update? I want to play CTGPDX but it only supports 3.0.3

He means Mario Kart 8 Deluxe needs to be on 3.0.3, not the firmware

That I know, he needs to update to 3.0.3, if his firmware is too low to run the update then he have to update if he wants to use the mod.

I had 3.0.5, then I deleted it and tried to download update 3.0.3 but it asks me to update the game to 3.0.5 or else I cannot launch it

Delete game and update, clear your tickets for the game, then reinstall games and update 3.03

I already deleted and reinstalled it and that didn't help. I'll see if clearing the tickets would make a difference

You need to clear the tickets for it to work.

You can use like goldleaf or tinfoil to remove the ticket associated with the update, you can look up the title ID for each files if you don't know their ID.

You need one, my previous post did mentioned 3.0.3 update if you don't have one

You do, I have the base game and the 3.0.3 update already. I just need to remove the ticket too

The only ticket you need to remove is the one associated with 3.0.5 update, that is what preventing you from loading 3.0.3 one.

Shouldn't removing all tickets work too? That's what I did, then I redownloaded the game and the update but it still asked me to update the game

Can the system detect a ticket from sysNand when I'm using emuNand? That the only thing I can think of that can be an issue since I've deleted all the tickets associated with MK8 from emuNand

The system will know that there is a 3.0.5 update when the ticket is still there.
