I don't think anyone here has actively got something against you and whatnot. You'll know it if they were actually wondering about when you're coming back to the forum. Even if there may be a bit some tight moments, those who'd still wonder about each other still got signs that they care about you

Things may be rough but I'm pretty sure things will be less rough if you don't mess with the rough edges of the forum

But what's the point if I know it'll lead to the same fate

Nah I didn't, I want to make it a goal where I don't touch this part of the forum most. it's a personal joke of mine to do, but I think the only parts of the EOF that I've actually touched was the good morning post and all. I missed when Cran used to be here talking about anything that floats his mind alongside the rest of the shennegains that've been caused, snd honestly, I'm hoping that something this can happen again and whatnot because I've been losing track of the days since he's been goner.

This ultimately depends on how you approach it. If you try interacting in spaces that are heated hoping to get something positive out of them, then you're putting too much onto yourself, meanwhile if you solely interact on the more lighter spaces (like this one for instance), then there's less of a chance that heated things will happen Heated things happen anywhere of course, but the way you deal with it is the most important.


I don't interact with the political side of the forum cause I personally don't believe that it's right to have something like that in the forum but because the people who've created this site explained the reasons for owning such, I'm just not going to set foot in that place and talk, and focus solely on the gaming and howmbrew which this site excels spectacularly at.

It's not even exclusive to this forum, too. RGT also shares the same principle. Heck, even Discord, Twitter, Bluesky—all of the other socials I use and even the people I meet have the same thing as what I've said.

It seems to me that you and I got something in common where we seem to hope that our past experiences can still be worth the energy we put onto it when we first saw it for the first times, but when these spaces get too much for you, you want to bounce but something in you still wants to go back.

And as much as I'd like to provide a solution to this, I can't because even after the decades worth of living (almost two ina couple months), I still suffer this exact issue and still am trying to figure out ways to resolve such. I still rant about The Legend of Dark Witch even after I'm passed being engaged in that community and the developer's games after it started to get worse in quality after 2019.
