Whats going on with cloudflare ruining site.

What is going on with cloudflare on this site? can someone remove it from the website or at least fix it so that it doesnt reset every couple seconds. you cant even type two sentence reply on this site with the cloudflare garbage throwing up the oops error. and then having to click the stupid human checkbox to create a digitial footprint record that does nothing to help this site. common gbatemp has to be better than this.

If you remove it then the site strains and goes offline or gets spammed due to all the spam bots that it was stopping. Someone will complain either way.

Are you using a VPN or Mobile by any chance?
I only get the Cloudflare thing once in a while when I move around or switch connection, hardly a problem after a few seconds.

That might actually be the garbage ad provider they're using. It's doing forced redirects and other scummy shit.

Yep happens often to me on my tablet, not much on PC though. It won't even let me check the box on tablet, keeps refreshing back to that screen every-time I click the box. Only way I've found it to work on tablet is to open gbatemp on a "Private Tab".

If it's working better in a private tab, chances are you need to clear the cookies and your cache in your browser.

I've been getting a few more cloudflare prompts than usual, but nothing too excessive, maybe 1-2 times a day.

Cloudflare is unfortunately a nessesary evil. The annoying prompts it gives you filter out ddos attacks, which would otherwise bring the site down or add massive amounts to the hosting costs. Nearly every major site uses it now.

VPN is the only way to go. even though im not doign anything nefarious i prefer privacy. anonymous proxies, dsns, vpn you gotta put up a united front to not be classified and judged by the data collectors

cloudflare is the evil bro. they are collecting info on all the ignorant. there are tons of sites that get targeted 100% of the time that arent using cloudflare. al jazeera news gets trillions of attacks along with many other sites that people dont like. they dont use cloudflare.

maybe gbatemp is compromised.
