switch 2 games local firmware updates?

i have a switch 2 untouched waiting for hax, do games still do local updates? so i can make sure i stay where i need to be firmware wise.

right but what im asking is, or im not sure if im even remembering right, but i thought there were games that would proc firmware updates without need to connect online

They do not need to be on the same firmware. Only problem is if the game update being sent requires a newer system version then the sending switch will also transfer its system update with the game update.

so im basically completely screwed then it seems, because im on firmware that you get with the console where you can't do anything, so i doubt ill be able to use any hacks.

Not even sure if it ever will get hacked since SciresM is retiring.

The great news is that you are not only not screwed, but liberated from the need to worry about firmware updates! Why? Because the Switch 2 is unhackable and it would be dumb (as in anti-woke level dumb!) to buy one for $500 and then not use it waiting for something to happen that won't.

im not sure with how being anti woke helps me, i mean yea thats a wonderful thing, but, doesnt really help here, also unhackable is a strong word.
