Hi, I've already talked to you once on Reddit, and I actually saw the news on Reddit tonight because it's everywhere. It's sad news to lose you, but I completely understand. I saw one of your videos about the updates, and it seemed like a pretty big undertaking, which I appreciate. Atmosphere is a great complement to the Nintendo firmware. I have a question that I've seen come up a few times already on Reddit. Is it possible for someone else who's highly motivated to take over the work for the few upcoming updates the console will receive? You're a hero without a cape. Thank you!

Perhaps noone. Maybe some of the guys you see replying in Atmosphere repo's issues.

It's also likely there will be no more meaningful Switch 1 OFW updates and Switch 1 games.
This is possibly the main reason Sciri is retiring now.

I doubt it... Another Nintendo update is coming soon.

Nintendo might continue releasing firmware updates but I bet there will be no new features, and if no new games require the new firmware why bother to update anyway?

It's not really about feature, it's more on compatibility. If you have a dual boot switch and you can only have this switch and you like Monster Hunter Rise so much, then you would more likely update and break CFW compatibility.

With ScireM retiring, does that mean that once Nintendo updates the firmware, the "trick" to transfer one's EmuNAND's saves to a Switch 2 will not work anymore?
