Nintendo has never had a console or handheld not be hacked, neither has Sony. Only Microsoft has so far, and some say it's due to lack of interest because you can just play the same games on PC. The Switch 2 is only 6 months old it's a little premature to be gloating.

And you are underestimating how good/secure the Horizon OS (software) is. If it wasn't for NVIDIA, there wouldn't be Switch 1 hacks.

So, forget software exploits. The OS has been audited several times by several hackers, and they have confirmed there are no entry points (SciresM being one of them).

Hardware exploits? The Switch 2 is now using a dual core lockstep (DLCS) in the new security chip (no voltage exploits). And the encryption keys are quantum-proof.

Hackers just split open the Playstation 5, I would guess that it has more security than the Switch 2. But maybe Switch 2 has more because it's newer, but hackers have almost never let us down. Not going to keep going back and forth with you because it's pointless, time will tell.

Regular/typical encryption like RSA can be decrypted with quantum computers. The algorithm used in RSA encryption is the kind of encryption that a quantum computer can easily defeat.

So, to avoid that, there's now new encryption algorithms that are quantum proof (post-quantum encryption). It is not something magical... Just new algorithms that can't be broken with quantum computers. The Switch 2 used that kind of encryption.

Likely will happen around the switch 3. There is always a crack in the system it's only a matter of time. Dev units disappear and get decapped, Source code leaks, or a disgruntled employee drops something. There may not be a hardware exploit initially but there will always be the human exploit always a crack in the system. The big N just has managed to buy themselves a lot more time. And if not a switch 2 system hack a switch 2 emulator. I don't get the fanboying obsession about keeping a system locked and content at the whim of a company that's really lost it's way. First of all, I have no background in Computer Science or Cryptography, but I think Mr. FernandoRocker probably also doesn't have any Background in those Topics either, but if you know better and I'm talking out of my ass. Please, do correct me. This is also going to be my only Response because this Thread is just useless and only going in a Circle with People saying "NO, THE SWITCH 2 is UNHACKABLE" and "No, it is."

Technically, that's not true. It is authentificated/signed with post-quantum cryptography but it's still encrypted in another way.

You make it sound like it's easy and that it's common practice, while it isn't.
Even the strongest Quantum Computers to date can't break RSA when its in the RSA-2048 Range or higher.
NIST is deprecating RSA in 2030 and disallowing it in 2035, so until then RSA should still be save but from your posts it doesn't seem like you are a Fan of looking into the Future and are only living in the "here and now", so why even mention it lol

Also:
The BCT was never an Attack Vector, even in older Consoles. Hackers looked for other entry points, this could maybe change Jailbreaks for older Generation Hardware in like a Century when people will have Quantum Computers for personal use. (If at all), or if for some Reason a big Company decides to jailbreak Nintendo Consoles lmao.

Seems like you only look into the future when it proves your point, not the other way arround.
