What is the point of contention over asking about the rarity of your 3DS?

My post has been blocked on three different subreddits for genuinely trying to ask about my 3DS and it's rarity.
Not even a monetary value.

I have a New 3DS XL Hyrule Edition with two IPS screens.
All I'm asking is did all of those same models come with dual IPS screens?
Or is mine somewhat rare?

I really don't understand why that question gets me blocked....wtf is going on with these 3DS's?

It's not rare, but the prices for 3DS consoles second-hand have been going up a lot since 2020-onwards. The New 3DS XL is, by far, the more definitive model due to having a larger screen (and even some with IPS screens for improved clarity over the TN panels), so it's no secret that people want them a lot more.

What else has been going up since 2020? Inflation. Scalpers who still have boxed 3DSs aren't necessarily making much profit.

Most of the time when people post such topics it's an interest check and they plan on selling it later on. I the community doesn't allow sales and advertising, they will delete this type of posts on sight.

Did you ask if your 3DS was rare, or did you ask if all New 3DS XL Hyrule Edition units came with two IPS screens?

Waiting on CTGP-7 to finish downloading now.

CTGP-7 is awesome, I play that more than any other game on my N3DSXL. Even CTGP-8(Deluxe) on Switch is very good. Have fun!
