He couldn't even pretend to act nice for just one day, but decided to make Christmas a hateful event. Bad enough that last year's Christmas message from him involved telling some people to go to hell. What a Christian......

He also made a TruthSocial post, which is even worse, which basically sounds like projection alongside with saying "Enjoy what may be your last Merry Christmas!"

Without joking: i don't think he's pretending. One of the more interesting aspects I've learned with him is what I've heard described as 'perception equals reality'. Remember how he canceled covid checks on the idea that it would lower infections? It's that same philosophy here: he hangs out with the extremely rich and powerful, which gives him the perception that THAT is the gist of the American population. I bet that in his mind, those opposing him are a vocal minority of maybe five percent.

Or even funnier (though kind of tragical) : he probably literally can't comprehend that there are Trump voters who struggle to make ends meet. Less than a week ago, i saw him proclaim on a rally that the cost of living crisis is a hoax... While the MAGA crowd literally held signs demanding higher paychecks. And to be fair: i can't comprehend that either, as they were still cheering him on for that remark.

Edit: another example for this... Economists start calling the American situation the "'K-shaped economy" for the shape of the spending graph. Rich families are richer than ever and spend as such whereas poor families spend less than ever.
