Hello,

Some years ago I followed a tuturial for jailbreaking my PS4. I managed to get it to 6.72. But I find it quite unstable and I run in alot of problems.
For example, the homebrew store pkg is not working (says firmwire is too low) and alot of games that I transfer to the ps4 with remotepkg installer do not install or launch succesfully.
Even with backport patches alot of them do not seem to work.

I stumbled upon this new method with the bluray disk. Would it be wise to update to 12.03 and use the BD disk instead? At least no problems with backports? Should I just update and buy this dvd?

Any disadvantages on updating to 12.03 for example? I know I cannot get back once updated. So just to be sure. Or is there any other fw that's a better choice and why?
All this problems I run in on 6.72 just make me annoyed, I just want to play the downloaded fpkgs.
:)

Thanks in advance!
Ps. I'm a newb in the jailbreaking stuff. Maybe it's me doing something wrong?

Self host. User guide is always more stable.

I use the ESP8266 to load the .bin file here and cache it to my ps4 into the userguide. No issues.
