I stop converting my packs to dds coz there's a certain game that when I converted the image with transparency in it, it show black textures during the game, also there are fonts image that are not compatible in dds. Those are my experiences so I stop using dds format.

In my opinion, you shouldn't completely abandon the DDS format. I've already mentioned its advantages. But I agree that in some cases it doesn't work properly. That's why I advise or even strongly recommend the DDS format as a priority, and only if it doesn't work, switch to PNG.

But do as you please...i guess.

Just a quick update, when I have finished my Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence Remaster, I might return to this and re do it again, but this time it will be by far better than my first attempt.

Reason why, due to cancer kicking my arse, I'm left pretty much crippled and can't work anymore and because I used to work in publishing, designing websites and adverts for clients, I thought why not do what I love best, gaming and use my skills to remaster them.

With money being very hard not being able to work anymore, maybe users who like my work may consider donating which I would really appreciate (must stress this, my remaster packs will never be locked behind a paywall even though I personally host the downloads, they'll never be hosted on free sites that can be slow or becomes dead - this itself, I cover the costs to ensure you get the fastest download and its live 24/7.)

Ill make a before/after pic later, its was fixing up Ahs's textures yesterday and other Enemies.

Ill come back to this game after I've finished my next remaster which will hopefully be in a week or so (ive not made a post for it in here yet).
