Krikzz posted today on X (Twitter) that he's working on a new flashcard for the Game Boy Advance.

The video shows a Game Boy Advance Micro playing Wario Ware Twisted, a game which featured motion sensors. The handheld is tilted and the game recognizes the movement. After playing some micro-games with motion, a combo of buttons is pressed and a menu is show. The menu looks very similar to the one used on the Everdrive series of flashcards.

On the comments of the thread, Krikzz mentions some interesting info:
  • This new product features new hardware and it isn't a update for the current Everdrive GBA X5 mini;
  • There will be a solar sensor, so Boktai series games will be playable without patches (taiiiiiiyyyoo!);
  • The solar sensor will have sensibility settings;
  • The development is complete, but his team is still polishing the injection mold;
  • It won't be called Everdrive GBA X7;
  • The production will start on 1-2 months.
This new flashcard looks promising and it's shaping up to be the true definitive flashcard for GBA.

I asked on the thread about the solar sensor and Krikzz replied to me that it will detect any kind of light, not just ultraviolet like the original Boktai cartridges. So, the sensor on this new flashcard should be similar to the ones on the InsideGadgets and EpicJoy cartridges.

Really cool. Will probably cost $200
Yeah, I don't agree with his price gouging practices, that's why I stick to the clones. They're at least fairly priced. Though buying a "FX PAK Pro" clone for my SNES at over $100 USD still stung my wallet.

Cool, I hope it has rumble.
Yes it's expensive, but it seems like some people are having issues with the new ez flash air.
So it's nice to have a premium choice that has all of the features and works without any issues (as long as that is truly case!), for those who can afford it.

The sad truth

EDIT: Now I'm hoping for a version of ChisFlash with gyro sensor.
About the solar sensor, there's already the EpicJoy cartridge, which is very cheap, but needs some hardware to write the ROM.

Unfortunately, the only option right now for motion sensor is Inside Gadgets, but their supply is limited and the price is on the high end too.

A ChisFlash or SuperChis with motion sensor would be nice.

Agreed, hope this one get's cloned. Still a lot cheaper even if it's @ the $100 range. Been meaning to get the PAK Pro clone as well

The entitlement in this thread is hilarious.

“waaah my piracy device costs money” :rofl2:

Excited for a new Everdrive product. Aside from the SummerCart64, there really isn’t a viable competitor in the flashcard scene. EZFlash fell off real quick.

I don't also agree with his controversial anti-clone measures to brick clones that innocent people would much rather have due to how expensive he chooses to sell his carts at. Ironic for making a flashcart used for piracy, having other bootleggers pirate your hardware, only to add anti-piracy at the last minute over your device used for piracy - if you price gouge, then you are telling people to find alternatives.

Agreed, hope this one get's cloned.
Are there clones for any of the zrikzz gba carts? I didn't think so, but also don't pay much attention.
My ez flash vi (ancient one with mini sd I think) works fine, and I have the omega too.

I haven't really seen any or bought any clones to test but I already own the mini and the older larger version. I do see clones of the GB. So just being hopeful there is a clone at some point. Can't justify buying a third.

It’s not because it “cost money,” it’s that they cost a ridiculous amount of money. You may have the money to drop 100$ to 200$ on a cart, but most of us don’t.
