Another delay has come for Grand Theft Auto VI. Originally slated for release sometime in 2025, it was eventually pushed back to May 2026, and now, has been further kicked down the road to its new release date of November 19, 2026. Rockstar Games cites needing some extra time to polish up the game as the reason behind the delay.

Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026.We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.

I'm sorry for the GTA fans that were looking forward to the game. I admit that this doesn't affect me because I still haven't played GTAV yet. However, I know Rockstar has a very dedicated following, so they're probably upset that another six months have been tacked on.
