Hi, my wii u was bricked (failing emmc i think, blue solid light no video gamepad wont connect, always needs 5s power button press to turn off) and upidh would never work. I found out about paid the beak a few days ago and have been trying to get it to work today.

Ive managed to trigger the UNSTBL_PWR flag (red light when no sd inserted, flashing blue light when sd with img inserted) but i cant get minute menu to display.

It definatley worked at least once as the light went purple and fan turned off, but my tv wasnt able to display the image. Ive moved the wii u to my pc monitor but now no matter what i do the light never goes purple

What could I have done wrong?

ive been using an older 1gb sd card that I know worked on different nintendo consoles and a 2gb sd card that came with a 3ds. im really not sure what the issue may be other than something going wrong with the sd card (some payload is being loaded since the light is flashing but minute doesnt since it never goes purple)

Some consoles need TP73 instead of cell positive to work. If you tried cell positive, check TP73?
I'm abit unsure what you mean, ive been bridging a connection from the picos pin 13 to TP73 to trigger the unstable power flag needed to get the payload on the sd to run

what do you mean by cell positive? do i need to do something with that too?

@neverendsDull if ive been trying tp73 and it doesnt work are you saying i could try bridge cell positive with the picos pin 13?

No, cell positive is an "easier" approach since it is more reachable. But some consoles need TP73 to work. If you already tried TP73 then ignore this.

If you have more than one console, try PTB on others to troubleshoot. The indicator needs to be purple, otherwise the exploit did not trigger. If it turns purple but you got no signal on TV, try another one or use USB video capture card, I saw some consoles can only display signals with capture cards, but you would only worry about this after the indicator turned purple...
