Another delay has come for Grand Theft Auto VI. Originally slated for release sometime in 2025, it was eventually pushed back to May 2026, and now, has been further kicked down the road to its new release date of November 19, 2026. Rockstar Games cites needing some extra time to polish up the game as the reason behind the delay.

Grand Theft Auto VI will now release on Thursday, November 19, 2026.We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.

And whats the odds that these so called delays to polish will all be combined into a massive day one update as your base game on disc will be the original intended release version and it'll still be buggy as hell.

Saying that, this game will have to shift fucking shit loads in order to cover its costs of wages ect over these long 10 years if not longer.

They'll probably use the tax tariff as an excuse to launch its base version at £90 each lol.

And how will it run on PS5? If we're lucky it'll be 30fps LOCKED.
In performance mode. I'd estimate quality mode will be an unstable 20 FPS. Will be Sony's biggest push to sell PS5 Pros for sure, although it's possible even PS6 will be out by then.

I kind of regret buying a PS5 but suppose it'll be worth when hacked (7.00), I've not booted it up for over 7-8 months. I prefer to play on Xbox One X as I bought specific games I wanted to play on it.

I don't regret buying it as a PS4 ultra-pro, but it's definitely been disappointing beyond that, aside from some console-exclusive beta tests I got an invite for. I have no interest in a PS6, but if they announce Bloodborne 2 as a launch exclusive I know I'll be livid. Hopefully they just go with a Bloodborne remaster instead, since emulation has nearly achieved that same thing anyway.

Well, considering that Microsoft is too busy trying to strangle the Xbox Brand with a multi-million dollar pillow and Sony is so desperate to keep thier numbers looking good to investors by lumping PS4's PSN numbers as PS5 revenue while treating Sell-In PS5s as ones sold to the consumer while PS5 is falling further and further behind the PS4 than it is now... Well, let's just say GTA6 being delayed while giving Nintendo (Because let's be honest, GabeN going to do anything other than that just releasing Deadlock out of "beta" and hope for the best and make a new Steam Deck that's closer to higher end handheld PCs) all of next year to sell Switch 2s like crack because there's no major releases that people are actually looking forward to like GTA6 and games take forever to make now.

Well it's only the most anticipated game of the century I'm not surprised they want to continue polishing every last detail :creep:
