"Duke Nukem: Zero Hour" decompilation for the N64 has reached 100% completion

The Nintendo 64 library and its decompilation community continues to grow day by day, and with the evolution of reverse engineering tools and efforts, more and more games are getting decompilations and advancements.

This week, another Nintendo 64 exclusive has joined the list of fully complete decompilations, thanks to @KiiWii's tip, with the title in question being "Duke Nukem: Zero Hour", released back in 1999. The game follows Duke Nukem in a third person shooter perspective, different from that of Duke Nukem 3D, which involves some time travelling and historical environments.

Now that the decompilation of Zero Hour is complete, others can jump in and work on getting a working and native PC port running, be it a custom-from-scratch port like the OoT Ship of Harkinian, or one made through the N64 Recomp project, which could probably be the faster route to create a PC port.

Those interested can compile their own build of Duke Nuken: Zero Hour, but remember that the user is required to provide their own ROM of the game in order to extract the assets and compile properly.

lol, I actually have nostalgia from this game. I rented it as a kid, and remember it having funny elevator music.

It took me ages to find out what game it even was, when I was older. If it gets a port, I will for sure check it out!

Funny how Duke Nukem went from being a 2D platformer to 3D "Doom" clone... with jetpacks. Well there was that one game on Nintendo DS that was a 2D platform like the classic. :P
Wait what? It was a 2D platformer before it was a Doom clone?

I was curious about this one back in the day but not a single store in my city put it in their shelves for rent.

Hopefully someone will port it, now that it's been brought up to attention again i want to play it.

Wow, kudos to the team. Any time a decomp is completed, it's great news for the community.

It's funny, I keep hearing mixed reviews on this game. Some people feel it's awful, but others say it's an underappreciated gem. Apparently, many people have fond memories of this game.
