View attachment 534004 Not really sure where to go from here, clicking the numpad does nothing.
Before you mess with those, make sure the bad lighting in pokecenters/street lamps are visible/directly in front of you. Then open up the ReShade menu (Home key default), go into the "Add-ons" tab, click "New" at the bottom, hit "Edit", rename group to "Lighting Toggle", then change the keybind toggle to something (the video has it set to F1) hit "OK", then "OK" again, then click "Change Shaders". It'll run through some shaders it's collecting for the next steps. Once that finishes, hide the ReShade menu (Home key), now keep pressing "1" on the number pad (right side of keyboard) until you notice the light glitches disappear, if you go too far, hit "2" to go back to it (you'll notice the shader number change in the upper left menu). Once you're on the one that disappears, reopen ReShade Menu (Home Key), click "Done" then click "Save all Toggle Groups". This SHOULD work if you did it correctly. Now to properly toggle it, you have to open the ReShade menu, then hit "F1". Otherwise if you hit F1 without the ReShade menu open, it'll just refresh which is not what you want.

i got reshade menu set up except im not seeing anything related to shaders in the add-ones even though i followed the instruction from the video u shared, before tackling the lines problem im running into fps issues. Before on other emulators and normal ryubing not canary i was getting 30 fps but now im getting 15-25 in most places. My specs are 13500h and 3050 which should be able to get 30 fps. Im on vulkan also not opengl
Make sure you get the ReShade version I posted previously, get the "addon" version of it, install it to the emulator EXE (browse to find it), select vulkan API, default everything else) then download the ShaderToggler from the video found at this github https://github.com/FransBouma/ShaderToggler/releases/tag/1.2.1
then put that where the EXE is + other ReShade files. Then follow what I posted a message before this new one. Let me know if you need help still after following both of these.

i used ReShade_Setup_5.8.0.exe and followed your instructions, then i put ShaderToggler_v121 extracted in the same folder but there is no addon showing up under Generic depth

edit: nvm, reshade 6.6.1 works fine with addon

I downloaded "ReShade_Setup_5.8.0.exe" and clicked ryujinx.exe, then left everything after that in default and clicked next. Then, after downloading ShaderToggler_v121.zip(version 1.2.1), I put the "ShaderToggler.addon64" into the same folder as everything else. I then opened ReShade.ini and changed the 36 to 56 to change the key from "home" to "8" because I don't have the home button. The menu pops up, but under Generic Depth, there is no Shader toggler.

The reason you're running into problems is that you're using an installer of ReShade that doesn't support Add-ons. Your executable should be labeled; ReShade_Setup_6.6.1_Addon

You should also download the latest, 5.8.0 is dated. Now both the latest Regular & Add-on versions can be found at their official webpage here; https://reshade.me/

Furthermore, you don't have to source ShaderToggler.addon64 from the web. ReShade will simply download it for you automatically during the installation phase if you prompt it to.

I've also gone and written a comprehensive guide, post#34, detailing how to use ShaderToggler if you require additional guidance at the following thread.

For me, 6.6.1 just crashes Ryujinx if I try to open a game or settings.

What version of Ryujinx are you using? Final release from original team, stable GreemDev Hard Fork or Nightly Canary?
It would also be helpful to know what GPU you have and its driver version.

I'm using Ryujinx Canary 1.3.169 with an RTX 3090. I'm on driver ver 581.15, and I'm personally not seeing any instability with the latest ReShade exe.

HilmFyre has contributed in this here thread if you want to follow their explanation on how to use Shader Toggler.

I've also written a guide at the following thread. You can help yourself to that, too.

But If you prefer a video guide, Julio Cesar has an excellent one over on YouTube.

This reason is probably why mine were messing up on the latest ReShade build lol I know for sure I haven't updated mine in an awfully long time (forgetting it exists tbh)

If you want a more performant gpu, then I highly recommend an uninstallation with DDU first to remove all associated entries of your gpu driver still permeating your system. Then, fire up NVCleanstall and have it trim the driver package down to size; ridding it of all the bloat and spyware sandwiched with it.

Sounds daunting, I know, but it's well worth learning if you want to have a pc environment with as few snags and bugs as possible.

I was going crazy trying to get this to actually work, because the shaders would pop back up as soon as I clicked 'done', and wouldn't go away with toggling, until I watched the video and found you have to click 'numpad 3' to mark a shader as one to add to the shader group to toggle.

Also, none of the keys on the Numpad are mapped to any hotkeys for Eden or Ryujinx (I'm playing the game on Eden), so if you set the shader toggle hotkeys to the numpad you can toggle them without entering the ReShade menu first.

You might want to add that to your guide.

Also, I noticed two separate shaders seem to cause the 'holodeck lines'. Disabling either results in them going away. Also when either of them is disabled, so is Bloom.

I set numpad 7 and numpad 8 to disable each of the shaders independently in case having one of them disabled causes problems elsewhere in the game. I tried numpad 1 and 2, but that interfered with scanning other shaders by constantly toggling.

It doesn't get rid of all the graphical problems, I still get some flickering and the occasional vertex explosion, but it does clear up some of the larger graphical issues.
