I haven't experienced that myself on Ryujinx Canary. What version of ReShade are you using? 6.6.1 is the latest.

Try Redoing it and perform a clean re-installation. Run the ReShade executable again, point it to Ryujinx's exe, re-select the previous API (vulkan+DirectX) and you'll be prompted with the option to uninstall. Then proceed to reapply it. Opt for a vulkan installation and try getting it working on that api.

Also, make sure you're selecting ShaderToggler by Otis_inf in ReShade's Add-on GUI. This will come up during the installation phase. Do not confuse it with ReShadeEffectShaderToggler by 4lex4nder.

Again, we want ShaderToggler by Otis_inf and you must be using the latest ReShade with addon support.
So I ran the ReShade_Setup_6.6.1_Addon exe (as this was the one that has the Shader Toggler Addon mentioned previously) -> Browsed to the Ryujinx Canary exe location -> clicked DirectX 10/11/12 (ensuring I have all those installed/updated) -> Chose default options for effects to install (Standard Effects + SweetFX) -> No add-ons selected from next popup box, hit next -> "Finish" Go to Boot PLZA, doesn't show Reshade menu at all/lets me play still. Do the same thing, same uninstall process, then go to install again using Vulkan, crashes on game boot. No idea why or what's happening

ReShade will fail to boot if there is a mismatch between the api you selected during the install phase and the api being rendered to the game.

As far as I know, Ryujinx only has support for Vulkan and OpenGL, at least according to my setting with Ryujinx. If you're selecting Directx during reshade install phase, then it will simply fail to load, since that option isn't supported by Ryujinx.

You must choose either OpenGL or Vulkan within Ryujinx and apply ReShade to that matching api.

Just tried OpenGL as well, it also crashed like the Vulkan option. I also tried using that ReShade on another emulator (Eden 0.0.3) and OpenGL and Vulkan both had issues as well/didn't work.
ReShade was working prior to all this using "ReShade_Setup_5.8.0.exe" but it didn't have the experimental add-on option. And I can't get that one to work anymore either (it was working on a whole separate emulator and I just transferred all the files over and it just worked for anything i used emulator-wise)

For what it's worth, I'm testing these using Vulkan option in the emulator settings, and I'm using an RTX 3070, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8 core processor

After some more testing, I reinstalled "ReShade_Setup_5.8.0.exe", used my original preset option that I used for Legends Arceus, clicked Vulkan for Ryujinx Canary, and THAT worked ?????????

(note: I tried the same method for the newest reshade version with and without the addon download via reshade website, and neither worked)

Are the contents of your folder matching up to mine?

This is a clean install of Ryujinx Canary build 1,3,168 with Vulkan selected as my graphic backend.

And this is after I installed ReShade 6.6.1 with addon support.

If you did it correctly, you'll be greeted with ReShade's splash banner on boot as you can see below.

Currently missing "alsoft.ini", do you have the screenshot of it opened so I can copy it or a download link?

Also I was able to get it working with the older reshade version. I found an archive of the older ReShade files via a Mediafire link, downloaded + installed using the normal process (Vulkan api, reshade preset I had before for PLA), downloaded the ShaderToggler.addon64 via the Julio Cesar video mentioned earlier, added it to the emulator root folder, worked like a charm.

Hello, thank you for your advice, I've installed the reshade with vulkan on the latest version of canary but I'm still getting bad graphical bugs in certain areas (like the PC). The Shader Toggler addon is loaded on the addon version of reshade, with nothing else.

Those artifacts aren't going away on their own. You need to manually remove them yourself. If all you've done is install the necessary files, then you have accomplished nothing.

If you're unsure on how to proceed, I suggest you watch this video explaining it step-by-step.

1.0.0 mods should work with 1.0.1 except Dynamic FPS and maybe Ultrawide (I don't have an ultrawide monitor to test it, also I don't care about ultrawide).

I just checked the code and compared it and they look the same, so the list of mods that should work is the following:

Also nsobid it's the same.
Where are the mods? I really haven't found them yet.

Can you please just share how to do it instead of redirecting? Thanks.

For me, using an older version worked. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/8ar1jhh1809cl/ReShade_Repository has the older files. For me, I used "ReShade_Setup_5.8.0_Addon.exe" and grabbed the download file from the github link in this youtube video

Once you open up ReShade, select the Ryujinx Canary exe, select Vulkan and it should work. If that works, let me know and I can give you the next steps for removing the lights.

Can you stop acting like an entitled ass and behave yourself? Thanks.

You just joined this board and your very first comment that you contributed was a name-bash aimed at me...

Now you can help yourself to the video I linked, or bother someone else for assistance.

Fl4sh runs a Github Repository where you can find many mods for your favorite switch titles. Take a look and check back often for updates.

i got reshade menu set up except im not seeing anything related to shaders in the add-ones even though i followed the instruction from the video u shared, before tackling the lines problem im running into fps issues. Before on other emulators and normal ryubing not canary i was getting 30 fps but now im getting 15-25 in most places. My specs are 13500h and 3050 which should be able to get 30 fps. Im on vulkan also not opengl

Not really sure where to go from here, clicking the numpad does nothing.

Hi new here but been lurking and reading, I've been running the modpack baring ultra wide support on Steam Deck and was wondering about some issues I ran into.

But first thabk you for these mods its been a cool experience getting back into emulation!

It all runs fairly well I have only ran into 2 crashes one in a cutscene and the other while wandering around.

The only other issue I have had is slow rolling, falling and throwing pokeballs. It all seems to have a delay but it could just be my settings. Its also doing this before battles where you cant confim any text. If you need any more info im more than happy to provide!

Do any of you guys know how to enable multiplayer on ryubing emulator to trade for alakazam and gengar etc? i was able to copy a new instance and have it run separately. im using ldn-mitm on both emulators. but whenever i create the room in link trade the game crashes. im on the newest firmware btw.
Did you figure it out? Game crashes on the Link trade screen after inputting the number for Ryubing and the game freezes on Eden after inputing the Link code.

The current issue is still persisting on my pc where I seem to be lag rolling and throwing balls.
