New content from the GameFreak Teraleak has appeared online, includes Legends Z-A source code and upcoming Pokemon game plans

During the infamous Game Freak "Teraleak" incident, one of the involved parties claimed that they had obtained access to early builds of the then just-announced Pokemon Legends: Z-A, including developer documentation and even source code. The leaker refused to release any of the content related to Legends: Z-A so early on, promising to return once the game had launched, and then drop those insider files onto the internet. And sure enough, they did just that, uploading multiple builds of the game, both for PC development and on the Nintendo Switch, and the source code for the game. But that wasn't all.

Internal plans were also included in the leak. In the documentation, Game Freak appears to already have plans for a "Legends 3", which would take place in the Galar region. The new upcoming generation of Pokemon games were also mentioned, with early screeenshots, codenamed Winds and Waves. There is another project referred to as "Seed", which aims to be a "multi-region Pokemon remake", allowing players to walk from Hoenn to Sinnoh. These design plans are claimed to have been made in 2021, so plenty could have changed. X user Centro LEAKS is documenting all of the Teraleak, though be warned, as Nintendo will likely send takedown requests to those who share images and content from the leak.

If this is legit, it does seem pretty promising, to be honest. A lot of people will definitely end up complaining that Nintendo is copying Palworld when this has probably been in development for a several years by now, way before Palworld was a thing.
even if they did "Copy muh Palworld", people still forget that that wouldn't even be new, just look at Sun and Moon ripping off Yo-Kai Watch because the first YKW two games sold a million each and Game Freak shat their pants (and on the 3DS so they could change things mid development far easier than on Switch/Switch 2)

The fact they're doing this on a 20M budget alongside the more recent pokemon games having megar budgets is quite worrysome since ethier Nintendo/Creatures don't want to give Game Freak too much of a budget with how well they've been doing on a technical level, or GF are intentionally handicapping themselves for no reason when a $60-80M would make things way more doable.

I have all the Yokai Watch games as well as Pokemon Sun and Moon and never saw any special similarities aside from both being Creature Collector games.

I remember when I was visiting Kanda Square and under one office building in Nishikichō I saw Junichi Masuda.
I said to him kinichiwa but my Jap is so bad that he replied "waa?" - then I said "get fuk". He look at me and said "yee".

That was fine day.

Why are all the Nintendo leaks only about Pokémon? I'd like to know so much stuff about Splatoon but it seems that everyone who can leak Nintendo's internal stuff is interested in Pokémon only.
it's an insider drip-feeding this stuff so people talk about it and keep buying the products

this is not a new tactic

This is all I care for really, it's what we've been asking for at this point for over a decade, and I hope they finally realize it is what the players want and actually make this come to fruition.
Same, however judging by the fact that it is an MMO (at least that is what I've heard) the main drawback is it will probably lose online support at some point or be pulled from digital storefronts entirely, here's to hoping someone will archive the games contents whenever it comes out as it'd suck to have another Pokemon dreamworld situation where from what i remember, not all of it's contents were archived, just a portion of them and it looks like sites like project Pokemon made a movement for people to present things they have leftover but it seemingly went nowhere unfortunately.

I always find leaks like these more interesting for the ability to see the development process, more than anything. Source code is certainly cool; I don't even intend to buy Z-A at this point, and won't until it's been out for a while... Can't trust GameFreak to put out a finished game nowadays.
it's odd because whenever i see leaks or beta's of these games i often see things that look better than the final game, for example i prefer diamond and pearl's beta battle UI, to the point i have been tempted to restore it into the base game, though i need to figure out where the NARC's are located.
