The Crimson Collective hacking group claims that it has hacked Nintendo

A hacking group is claiming that it has managed to breach Nintendo and access internal data, including developer assets and admin data. Known as the Crimson Collective, the hackers were behind a breach of Red Hat Consulting's GitHub repository last month, accessing thousands of sensitive files and source codes. Currently, it's unconfirmed that Nintendo was hacked or any of its data was in fact breached, but the group did share a screenshot of folders it claims it managed to access.

Like in or not in this game generation Sony has been treating their customers better that Nintendo, even the PS5 price hike is not as bad because it is at least a current gen console compared to the Switch 1.

And they are not pulling an Xbox and they are launching some of their games for PC.

Granted the PS5 Pro is the price of a computer but at least it doesn't feel as overpriced as the Switch 2 for what you get.
I wouldn't call fruitlessly shoveling money into live services while cranking up the price to hide the fact the thing is failing super hard to the point they only ported thier games to PC to try and get some money back from throwing money into live services and neglecting the PS5 with things the consumer actually wants causing the sales to continue to tank behind the PS4 "pro-consumer."

Reminder: Astro Bot has been the only true PS5 exclusive (as in No remakes, ports, smaller releases by indie studios, multiplats or "exclusives" that are no doubt temporary like Death Stranding 2 and Ghost of Yotei because Sony needs that cash for the next live service) in nearly SIX YEARS (we're a month from that milestone btw) while the swtich 2 has at least 4 (3 if you don't count the welcome tour) in what will be SIX MONTHS.

If they didn't port thier games to pc or multiplat across PS4 and 5, that number would be significantly higher, and dare I say it, would be selling more instead of supermarkets having to buy the stock.

They would keep the code for the operating system in there though, which could then be used to find ways around or through its security checks.
sure, they also have detail document about how to create cfw for switch 2 in there along it instruction how to hack their own device ! LOL

Maybe they should hire you to fix it :)

That would be downright legendary. Once any of that info is out there it cannot be changed.
I doubt that would happen. I mean I know the guy hacked Nintendo, but from a security perspective, that section of Nintendo is very likely walled off.

Because that kind of crap is so insanely important that it's not worth the extra comfort of keeping it in the network like that.

If it does leak, I'll crap my pants and eat a shoe. Because that would be the most painful and embarrassing thing to happen to them right now.

cranking up the price

Microsoft is hiking prices way worse that Sony.

I am not saying Sony is perfect, I am saying they are better that current Microsoft and Nintendo.

Sony does put their digital games on sale, up to 50% discounts, Nintendo does not.

Sony did alllow their failed PSVR2 to be used on PC.

Sony gave away Astro playroom for free, Nintendo charged money for their Switch 2 tutorial

They all suck but Sony is the one suckling less.
