This may be true, but if it's so rampant in video games, I might be able to work with the name of a game that takes it to the extreme.
Also, it's not like I haven't visited Reddit a few times. But not enough to recognize a certain style of humor if it hits me in the face, apparently. Though, I might just need a little hint to connect the dots.

Is The Stanley Parable Reddit humor or is that just plain British humor?
Undertale?
Goat Simulator?

Please don't say Fortnite. That wouldn't help me at all... Also, it's not an indie game.

The Stanley Parable has some, yes.

Undertale also does, but less than TSP.

Haven't heard of Goat Simulator before but yes, it does sound like it'd have Reddit humor.

I can't remember which game exactly, but I remember a popular indie I played said something like "Thank you, John Zelda" and I almost ragequit, lol.

Would it be an unpopular opinion to say Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots has "reddit humor?"

If I recall correctly, the script frequently used the term "meme," and even the colonel says, "For The Win." (If I recall even more correctly, it shows as "FTW" in the subtitles.)

Both of those were just starting to become popular, when the game released.

I suppose you're right. My Reddit activity has been minimal for a long time, so I wouldn't know what came from Reddit vs. somewhere else on the internet.

Appealing to Reddit probably guarantees thousands of dollars in extra sales. Reddit has changed from when it first became famous. Reddit is more like Tumblr now.
