They do work for Sing Party, and they do work if launching from the actual disk with We Sing.
I tested both WiiFlow and USB Loader GX, same thing.
Tried changing cIOS and used all three, and the compatibility guide says 56 should work so shouldn't have to change really I suppose?

I have Aroma running on an SD card with a second partition formatted by the Wii U, and ISFShax + SDUSB installed and working (I think).
I have installed cIOS patches with the recommended channels (248 -> 38, 249 -> 56, 250 -> 57 and 251 -> 58).

I can launch games both from wbfs files and VC injects (Teconmoo) without problems, but my Logitech microphones do not work for singing games unless started from disc.

What else could I try to troubleshoot this?

Is there perhaps some kind of conflict with something else I installed? What could interfere if so?

I see in the guide an info box saying "While cIOS has largely been supplanted by AHBPROT", but AHBPROT I see hardly no mention of anywhere else and the guide itself doesn't really mention it so I guess cIOS is still the preferred way?

This is my syscheck, let me know if there are other logs or info that could be helpful:

Is the "running on IOS58" and "vIOS58 (rev 6432): USB 2.0" something to be concerned about? Or is that expected behavior?
Like I said, ULGX has been tested by manually changing game settings to 248-251.

Try IOS57 as a base, so cIOS 250 in your case.
Which We Sing do you have exactly? I see there a multiple: https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Wii_cIOS_base_Compatibility_List
Yeah, found that chart too. I have the "regular" We Sing, PAL version: https://www.gametdb.com/Wii/SSGPNG (SE version cover matches mine).

I tried all of the different IOSes, at least I think I changed it correctly.
Just to double check that I did it the right way, this is correct?
In USB Loader GX, select the game -> Settings -> Game Load -> Game IOS = Custom -> Custom Game IOS = clear to remove "-1" then input "250" -> Save -> Ok -> Back -> Back -> Start?
Just out of curiosity: what does "Auto" do?

I also tried changing the global value (Cog wheel -> Loader Settings -> Loaders IOS or Games IOS, not really sure which to change so changed both).
Tried different values and combinations there too - currently my settings are Loaders IOS = 249, Games IOS = Auto, but tried Loaders IOS = 250 and Games IOS = 250 as well as others, still no microphones. :/

Edit: Gave it another shot.
Tried different combinations:
ULGX settings: Loaders IOS 249, Games IOS Auto -> game: Auto = no mic
ULGX settings: Loaders IOS 249, Games IOS Auto -> game: 250 = no mic
ULGX settings: Loaders IOS 249, Games IOS Auto -> game: 251 = no mic
ULGX settings: Loaders IOS 250, Games IOS 250 -> game: 250 = no mic

Tried with the mic in back ports and front ports, connected before and connecting after. No go.

Is there some log I can look at that might tell me if ULGX recognizes the mic before the game is launched, or something else that might be wrong?
